BluScion.3172
I originally pre-ordered GW2 at launch and played about 6 months before I had to leave for deployment...then came back and got sucked into Army life...yadda yadda lol. That being said, I just purchased two game contents and I'm wondering for the living story and the rest of it can I experience as much of the content as possible? I've forgotten a lot of GW2 unfortunately (except the blasted mario brothers part of it lol....) Here's the two items I've just purchased (no access to old email acct):Guild Wars 2 - Standard Collection (Path of Fire - Standard & Heart of Thorns - Standard)Living World Season 2 Complete PackAm I good to go to move forward? Downloading the client atm. Thanks,Blu

If you don't have access to LW3, I'd strongly recommend buying it before entering PoF content as it leads up to it and has an amazing introduction to the Desert. Coulter.2315
If you want to play in available chronological order (Season 1 was a "be there or miss it" thing) : Personal Story -> [Missing Season 1] -> Season 2 -> HoT -> Season 3 -> PoF. BluScion.3172
I just chose Eredon Terrace. Cool server name. :) Medium pop server. EDIT: What's a Revenant. :open_mouth: I chose Sylvari Elementalist. :)

They're about to get a new weapon as part of their elite specialisation in the new expansion Path of Fire, the Shortbow.
Pretty Pixie.8603
If I'm not mistaken Living story episodes are unlocked for free by logging in during that episode's launch. So you will have to unlock individual episodes for 200 gems a piece if you didn't log in then, although the gemstore sometimes has discounts that you might want to have a look at. Unless you're heavily invested in the story you can probably skip LS2, but LS3 has a lot of new maps that give easy access to ascended trinkets. LadySilverHand.6841
If you don't have the means to purchase the story chapters that are available (seasons 2 + 3 only), there are videos on youtube that summarize the events to help players refresh and/or get caught up and start playing the current content. Guild Wars 2 - The Complete Season 1 Movie Guild Wars 2 Living World Recap: Gates of Maguuma These are fan made, but a lot of work has gone into them by a large community of dedicated players.I also highly recommend the official wiki. It's everyone's best gw2 friend. :) https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_PageWelcome back to Tyria!

EDIT: What's a Revenant. :open_mouth: I chose Sylvari Elementalist. :)Welcome back, and thank you for your service. With both expansions, I'd recommend getting started on the gliding mastery in Heart of Thorns. Some of the Ancient Magics mastery that was tied to the Living World Season 3 maps may only be available once you unlock those chapters. Having logged in now, I think you'll have Chapter 6, but you may need to unlock/access in sequence to train the mastery points. These are the two tracks that will have some impact on your Path of Fire play (not essential at all, but could add some options). Enjoy your Elementalist! PS: Message me in game or send a PM here if you need anything like a larger capacity bag. I'm happy to help.
