ulchanar.4309
How does Destruction of the Empowered work with skills that remove boons? Is the damage calculated before or after boon removal? Has anyone tested this yet? I'm considering whether it's worth to take DotE over Brawler's Recovery. The whole concept of removing boons speaks against DotE - but on the other hand, if you deal with conditions through resistance anyway and thus not need Brawler's that desperately, DotE could still be a thing, especially if the damage was calculated before boon removal... What do you think?
nicknamenick.2437
I am almost sure it is: Boon remove > hit Or else you cant stun something while removing stability.. so this trait does nothing if you do remove boons.
Lonecap.4105
The thing is... you can't remove boons faster than they can be applied. So while the trait doesn't work at full effectiveness if you've removed some boons... it gives you some extra clout when you inevitably fight those who do have boons up. And 3% per boon is nothing to sneeze at. Brawlers Recovery is a terrible trait... one condition removed per 5 seconds (if you swap constantly - another caveat) is putting a plaster on a constantly gushing tap.
