Is there a difference between stat and MH attacks?

I couldn't find an answer for this probably partly because I didn't know what keywords to use.

Say I am dualwielding two ascended daggers, one berserker and one marauder. Does it matter which one I use in my mainhand damagewise? Are the stats just pooled together and when I attack with say skill #3 it would do the same damage on average as the other dagger?

Damage depends on the strength of the weapon and the total stats (power, precision, ferocity, ...). So in the case of two ascended daggers, it doesn't matter. If you have one ascended and one exotic dagger, though, the ascended dagger in the main hand would do more damage for the #3 attack than if you had the exotic dagger in the main hand, due to the higher weapon strength (924-981 vs. 970-1030).

I would agree with Gudy. It isnt so much about the stats I would think since all stats would get pooled together, but weapon rarities would have different weapon damage ranges. So he was spot on.
