Returning PVE Ranger with some questions

I was able to unlock Druid before leaving the game, now working towards unlocking Soulbeast. Are both classes very different? When I left the game the first time, it wasn't with the best gear. What stats/sigils should I be focused on? I'm currently using LB and going between S/A and GS. Thanks!

very different, soulbeast is a dps spec and druid is basically completely support. your weapons are fine for power soulbeast and i would look to get exotic zerk or marauder gear for open world stuff.

Both elite specializations are very different. Druid is a support specialization and Soulbeast is a DPS specialization.

The best gear by far is berserker gear with scholar runes and sigils of air and force. Berserker gear with scholar runes gives the highest DPS in the entire game for your profession. An alternative to berserker gear is marauder gear which trades damage for sustain, but if you're good at playing your profession, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Longbow is definitely a must if you want a ranged weapon. For melee sword/axe is alright, but the better weapon is the greatsword.
