Damage Dampener goes through elixir S

As the title says damage dampener seem to go through elixir S. I only tested in wvw dunno about pve/pvp

I was also wondering how protection and other damage mitigators worked with it. Have you had a chance to try those out?

Im pretty sure the delayed damage bypasses protection. its like the self damage from overheating as holosmith. Although I asume the damage is calculated from the initial hit and that is based on damage mitigation
