Hi Gerald, I was being a grouchy grouch, after my intial temper tantrum and reading through the comments on this post I'd changed my mind and happy with everyone getting the Skyscale 🙂

Well people still need to do the work for the double benefits. So those without Skyscale already, that's on them. It was reading some of the comments from other peoples perspectives that changed my mind. We all get new content, a new story. So looking forward to whats yet to come. If it means everyone needs a skyscale then so be it 🙂

Changed my mind....... after more reading, I've decided I will be getting the Xpac after all. Apologies for being a groucho! Looking forward to the next chapter of GW2 🙂

I don't think I'll be buying the new xpac. As glad as I am for gw2 to be releasing a new xpac, it's just made my past effort to get a skyscale worthless. The skyscale was the legendary of mounts and now its just "here you go", past efforts void. No point playing for the grind if its just given away to please those who can't be bothered to put in the effort to begin with.

It was'nt really that hard to get, just a bit of a grind. Just break it up, do a little each day towards it then once you've done the last bit, it feels like more of an achievement.

By the love of God, I did it with 3 seconds to spare. I will never be doing it ever again!

I've spent more time on this than I'd like and come close to putting my fist through the monitor! Even if you watch youtube videos of how to do it, most of them only just about manage to do it. There is no skill to this crappy adventure just, sheer luck if you happen to do it. The worst is there is an achievement and mastery point locked behind it.
