  1. My outfit has also strange colors when submerge underwater at some places, such as Frostgorge Sound. Instead of usual red&brown my outfit recolor to light-blue&silver. Nothing game breaking, just strange :o
  2. Agree, some maps are barely playable these days. Trying to do Bjora Marches achievments, but Im bombarded by lag-spikes constantly. And no, internet is fine. Other online games and vanilla GW2 maps are running perfectly without any latency. I remember this was the main issue which forced me to stop playing Guild Wars several months ago. I hoped that these lagspikes will be history after so long time... so Anet either cannot solve the problem (not on their end) or are failing hopelessly do fix it :D
  3. looks like trials on the eastern part of the Bjora Marches never spawns. Trying to complete this achievment for two days now and i always see the same 3 trials in the western part only.Spent over two hours today doing trials and events and never saw once Destabilize the Champions or Plant the Banners.
  4. Thanks for your answer. You mean "the latest", not "actual", I presume? ;) Yes. Just my crude english, sry :) About that overheating, this game does not even fully use my hardware and both CPU and GPU sits at around 65°C
  5. Well :*I solved my problem with dx912pxy mod. Now the game runs smooth in 2K resolution at ultra settings, with both char limit and models on high. Only slight microstuttering appears during massive PVE events during models loading (tested in Auric Basin meta, which always tanked my FPS)It is shame that i must use unsupported 3rd party software for the game to be playable on modern hardware. Why developers does not implement switchable - optional dx12 api inside GW2 client is beyond my understanding, when it make such a magic in this game :o
  6. I was not in Drizzlewood yet, but played some event and metas in BJora marches (trying to catchup missed content while i was not playing GW2) Same drops are in cities. I already tried older GPU driver which i was using before and was stable in all games i tried but problem persisted. It is maybe time to check some windows tweak guides maybe some win features are causing problems with this particular game. Ty for answer and screenshot "TheQuickFox.3826" I tried lowest character and model limit and it really alleviated my problem. But it still does not explain why i was playing with high on both char limit & quality few months ago. With char model on low, other players looks like scarecrows =) :# It does not really adds enjoyment and immersion haha
  7. So, the problem has returned even after Hi-res feature turned off. The problem lies somewhere else sadly. :/I tried to lower character limit and character models to medium but it is still happening, even on half empty map as soon as some players appears near me. I have no clue what is happening. Do you guys are using actual GPU drivers? or is it best to search for some older ones? also, did u tweaked some settings in GPU control panel or windows? :) Tried to reset bios settings in case this game does not like overclock, but that was not the issue too. Still happening.
  8. Hello,as title suggest, i have serious FPS drops when i activate this feature in graphics options. FPS drops to single-digit numbers every time when the game loads player textures, e.g. when approaching group of players or when players getting near me. Afterward the game smoothes out again. This manifests in-game as stutters and frame hitches (short freezes). My setup: i7 8700K oc´ed to 4.6 Ghz, 32GB ram (DDR4 3200Mhz), gtx 1080ti, SSD 960 evo.Game installed on SSD disk, clean windows 10 installation updated to newest version, newest GPU driver. My guess is that there appeared some incompabilities between the game and newer drivers or maybe win updates? Do you also have a problems with this feature? I just want to know if problem is at my side, or if it is a problem in general so I can just "tick off" this feature and dont bother with it anymore By the way I played this game several months ago and dont remember this problem back then, game stuttered for a bit only when I was approching really big mob of players during meta events. Now it stutters even with a few players around. Best regards
  9. now even core Tyria maps lagging :( Had the same lagspikes/rubberbanding like in HOT/LS4 during Blazeridge steppes Shatterer and Gendarran leg. anomaly events, I once even disconnected.Daily LS4 map Sandswept Isles unplayable.II tracked problem to Amazon and Liberty Global servers, which both has 100 percent packet loss during lagspikes.Plese fix your servers, im boycotting any gem-purchases until Im able to play this game normally. Best Regards
  10. Yesterday most POF and some LS4 maps were lagging like there is no tomorrow. :sDuring serpent ire meta we had several seconds long lag-freezes, which is more than enough to break the game. Everybody complained about them so there is definitely some serious issue on GW side or tracking route.Im playing from middle Europe.Im just wondering why Aned did not solved this issue yet. Since early October most Path of Fire maps are unplayable in certain times.
  11. After 2 weeks problem still persists. Today lagspikes even in LS4 maps, which was fine before.Game is near unplayable on certain maps. On Vanilla maps, problem appears only in mass group events, such as Tequatl. These events was also lag-free in the past, its only issue was crappy FPS. Now it is crappy FPS + lagfiesta... great =) PS: nothing is more fun than find oneself downed (or even dead) after 3 second lag-freeze
  12. so, looks like this problem befalls only POF maps. In core tyria or HOT maps i had perfect latency without any spikes. Completed entire Dragon stand meta without a hitch (maybe just a coincidence, will test again tomorrow). Then ported to Domain of Vabbi and lagged again. Moreover, there was not any players around so it just seems to be random.
  13. Hello, last few days I have massive lag spikes appearing by random. Everything literally stops and then "catch up" as ping return to normal, making game unplayable. It starts mostly when more players are around, such as bounties in POF maps. These lags does not concerns only me, but other players complaining about them too. But spikes occurs sometimes even when im just roaming around or attacking a mob.Nothing wrong on my side, so it is probably a tracing/packet loss problem.I have never had any lags in GW2, latency was virtually nonexistent.Other online games runs normally, so problem occurs only in GW.I hope you will resolve this issue soon, I would like to play this gut game again :) Best Regards *ps: I also noticed that textures loads more slowly after login or teleport to another location on map. It lasts around 1-2 seconds until everything loads properly. Idk if these 2 problems has any coherence, but seems to me that both appeared at the same time. Something has certainly changed in game in the last +-3 days that started these lags.
