  1. Is there an more iconic epitome of toxicity build as this build? You just sit there with quickness and kill everyone... with no counter play. And now that people start to run 3 of them in team its just kitten.
  2. Every single meta build are builds that reward passive play and are just overall batshit easy to play facerolling every enemy. You try to play any sort of class with a minimum of brain power required and it super hard actually climbing with them. You learn skill rotation, skill combo, burst rotation defensive rotation nothing matter, ranger blow up half your health in 1 shot while his pets does 2k autos and yours do 1k2. The state of balance is sad. It didnt even change since the 1 year I was away. Theres no data collected to balance things correctly, like class win rate, build template win rate, weapon combo winrate etc. All in all Anet is still as incompetent as one year ago in balancing and even worst you are coerced to play some classes to actually have a shot at reaching high rank even tough you completely trash platinum player on their class with 10h play and get stomped with your main because of dogshit balance. How can the community endure this?
  3. I already try that sadly... But the thing is if I try to +1 a node and dont kill the enemy player instantly, it seems I always get ganked by the thief at that point. I guess I overstay my welcome and Ideally I should rotate if I miss/whiff, right? The thing is > @Dadnir.5038 said: I'm playing core Power. Probably might want to go chaos I guess? But I feel like I do no dmg when I go chaos line...

  5. I mean at this point if you destroy this mantra, you nerf core, chrono and mirage since its the last bastion of defense for power mesmer... And it can be countered by applying stability before your healing skill or your burst. Simple as that!
  6. The phantasmal rogue almost always fail to hit target in spvp. A slight elevation/side step breaks the phantasm and it does no dmg. Quick fix = use the heartseeker animation. It's infuriating because of often it could down another player but instead it bugs out and you left there doing nothing...
  7. And yet it takes 3/4 a sec to cast a skills and alot of them takes time before they do their damage. It makes the weapon really clunky or you must have a serious big brain to predict movement of person. One can use himself as bait but its far from being enough with the many dash/teleport/mobility meta.
  8. Also auto misses all the time despite de animation clearly hitting them. It just says "miss" as long as they move even in constant direction...

  11. Verdict: 9 poison 1 skill throw + field ticking maybe overtune... You stated 18 stacks not 9 Even then, It's 18 stacks of poison that takes roughly ~5 seconds to kill with no cleanse, and that's on a condi build designed to gain maximum value out of poison. All of this assuming the victim of the poison bomb goes afk in 2 AoEs and gets hit by every grenade. Simply utilizing WASD keys should be sufficient to prevent death from happening. Worst case scenario, mistakes are made. 5 seconds is plenty of time to react and cleanse the condi burst. In this hypothetical scenario, the player misplayed in 3 different ways and died to an off meta build. Seems like a reasonable outcome. 18 from 1 skill only btw 9 stacks from 1 attack. Not balanced at all. The only thing that can stack up to that level (9 stacks) is like snake trap if you stand in it. And grenade toss at your feet is instant you cannot avoid 9 immediate stacks. Btw plz stop defending this design you look so biased... Like it was healthy for a game to have this much reward this low skills. Let me try to understand you better. You're saying "18 stacks from 1 skill" Are you implying that the engi hit you with 2 poison nades? (9 x 2 = 18). If so the scenario you laid out is impossible. 10.25 seconds of poison with 34% poison duration on a 25 second cooldown. I made my post in attempt to figure out what the engineer did to you to get 18 stacks of poison on you. Asuming he didn't have help from another player, He would have either had to land several skills on you (one of which involves running an underperforming weapon in the mainhand) or you stood in 2 poison fields and ate the poison nade. Lets start there. What exactly did the engineer do to you that resulted in 18 poison stacks?Thats the beauty if it! I don't know! I got hit by poison grenade point blank and might stayed 1sec max in it! He was not using pistol main hand too!
