It was initially chest in error and they changed it to boots. People who unlocked the chest prior to the patch kept their credit. I have both the chest and boots unlocked. No credit. Also, sounds like you’re referencing the mistshard armor (bridges), not the Corsair.

I think the issue stems from the game putting you in ab instances rift with people that may not be the rift you intended to enter. The timers and order were never correct for me and I had to do a full rotation more than once to complete the collection. Example: you wait at at the Brisbane rift, you enter but it’s actually the dreadgehaunt rift because the game didn’t want you to solo the bus an rift if no one else is there. The best way to figure out which rift is which is by the location of the exit.

They got credit because it was changed to boots and given the credit retroactively. I think our problem arises from unlocking the boots prior to the change, and “finishing” the collection the day it was patched. I unlocked the Jerkin with the collection showing the jerkin as the required item, of to have it change to boots.

Here’s the response I received for my ticket I submitted on 06/03. “We would like to inform you that this a know know issue that achievement is not correctly progressing for those who didn't get credit and are unable to continue because of it. Please keep your eyes out for future updates of the game of a fix of correcting achievement. If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us back.” Hope the future update hits by this upcoming Tuesday.

I was just clarifying cause your previous comment made it sound like you were at the vendor waiting for an update. I didn’t want anyone to get confused about irrelevant posts in this thread. I imagine most people with the bugged collection are frustrated.

The comments you’re referencing have nothing to do with the DragonFall collection that is bugged. They are talking about the mist shard armor, not the Corsair boots.

EDIT: My ticket received a response. ANET is aware of the issue. I unlocked a 2nd pair of Corsair Boots via WvW reward track for science. Still on credit. Not sure why the upload image url isn't working so I'll leave a link below. I alos made a post with the photo on the GW2 subreddit. Wish this weren’t the only thing keeping me from finishing the Vision 1 collection. Has anyone finished another reward track to see if it’ll unlock the second time? I really don’t want to invest 6 hours in something that probably won’t work. Hope this bug gets fixed soon.

Did your issue resolve? I unlocked the jerkin and my achievement changed to boots and did not give me credit for either even though I have the skins unlocked.

There's a bug I already submitted a ticket for. My collection initially showed I needed a Corsair Jerkin. I unlocked the Corsair Jerkin and got credit for Kourna but not Dragon Fall. The Dragon Fall collection changed to Corsair Boots and I did not get credit even though I unlocked the boots prior to the jerkin. I hope this gets resolved soon.
