midnight and veil give 2 seconds of stealth, prestige and decoy 3, if they have moa they cant have mass invis and moa has a 1 second cast time so there's at most a 2 second window for a mesmer to cast the signet and there's plenty of ways to cover that. aegis especially works well because it'll either block the signet or they auto into the aegis which is a clear tell you're gonna get moa'd in 1 second.

destroy the rift, cc, aegis, blind, dodge, line of sight, outrange but other than that no it's completely uncounterable.

bots can activate abilities faster than any human. mirage, guardian and scourge all have both offensive and defensive instant cast skills making them more effective bots than something like warrior.

VS Domination/Illusions Mirage: LoS, Stability, Aegis, literally just running through them as you cast anything worth interrupting. Signet of Illusions has a pretty long cast time making it easy to interrupt and this build relies on Desert Distortion + SoI for it's sustain. Kite for 20 seconds as they burn through cooldowns, interrupt the signet and they'll either blink and OoC or die. VS Chaos/Inspiration Mirage: This is a pure troll build with mediocre sustained damage and non-existent burst damage. Just run around them in circles until you decap them, don't take any unnecessary risks because you're not going to kill this pile of yak excrement. VS Chaos/Duelling Mirage: Another duellist build that unlike the Inspiration variant is actually capable of killing something other than brain cells. The burst is mostly instant cast but melee range and the bulk of the damage comes from confusion stacks, wait for those stacks to wear off and you keep moving around to nullify any torment damage. VS Duelling/Illusion Mirage (Power): Weakness applied after their dodge completely screws this build over, though if you survive their initial burst there's not much they'll be able to throw at you for a good 20 seconds. oh btw, you forgot to mention Desert-I get to dodge 4 more times-Distortion and Signet of-And make it double-Illusions x)

theres at least 1 post per season about people using some sort of hack in pvp, its almost always a core necro or scourge. its sadly nothing new but it isnt becoming more common like @Abyssisis.3971 said, its just getting more obvious. last season i came across a scourge that took tp hacking to a whole new level by teleporting straight to mid during the 10 second countdown before the match begins and cap before anyone else was even able to get out of spawn. it was pretty funny to watch that person flame me and the rest of the team for not playing xd

I've been messing around with power mirage in unranked since the season ended and if you enjoyed the playstyle of old d/p daredevil you might enjoy this one. both builds are (or in the case of d/p dd, were) effective +1s capable of quickly swinging fights in your team's favor, highly mobile thus can outrotate slower classes (like scourge and scrapper) with ease and rely a fair bit on stealth (mirage less so than thief).you will easily reach legendary with this because its pink and therefore its op and broken and anet needs to deleet mezmur already. This part has been deleted for suggesting mesmer takes skill to play. When it comes to outplaying opponents I'd say power mirage hits that spot quite well. The abundance of stealth and dazes paired with decent damage, high mobility and some boonhate allows you to jump into fights and punish people hard and fast for the slightest mistakes. However, keep in mind you can be punished just as hard. I dropped Renewing Oasis for Self Deception and use Mirage Mantle instead of Desert Distortion but other than that it's pretty much the same build. It's nowhere near becoming meta but it isn't exactly lul-tier either.
