thank you all for your insights. I really like that GW2 is a game made so you can go around solo, not being forced to group. thats the big draw to GW2.I do not have a single friend thats got GW2, so I am doing this alone. The thing with my druid is that I don't know anything about what I am suppose to do, where I am suppose to be, I get my butt handed to meregularly and I can't seem to get into the groove, thats why I was looking into going at it from scratch, so I get into each skill and know what/when/howto use it instead of just speculating. I been sneaking a peek at engineer, the hammer/shield specc seems solid defence and decent survivability....

I have 1 toon, thats the ranger/druid, and a level 42 elemental...thats it... so I am an open book in trying out new stuff, just as long as its notcomplex 45 buttons remember to press in sequence kind of playstyle :)

I been on a 2 years break, and I just returned to the game and it is like I don't know anything.I remember picking druid for my ranger, but that about it. I can't remember any of the lore orhow I got to where I am, so my question is....a few ones... do I continue with the ranger?do I instead start a new toon to re-learn anywhere?what profession is interesting but not boring yet not so complex that if I miss a press of the key my whole rotation flaunders?I got boosts, if I start a new toon, should I use the boosts, can I use them and still do the low areas?what your advice?
