  1. Hello, i would suggest you try 2 things and see if this fixes your issue. Firstly open your File Explorer and copy/paste-> %appdata% <- into the address bar. Look for the Guild Wars 2 folder [C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2] and delete the Local.dat file. Afterwards click your address bar and replace Roaming with Local\Temp and go to the folder [C:\Users[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\Temp], in that folder simply search gw2 and delete the folder gw2cache-.... After the file and folder has been deleted simply start your launcher and it will re-download the files Then do a clean install of the latest Nvidia Graphics Drivers. Give your PC a reboot. Let me know if this fixes your problem :)
  2. Yeh completely agree ! Something wrong there. When i had my GTX970 i was getting more than that except for zergy areas and Lions Arch etc. I was using a 1080p monitor with 120Hz. The game would happily push out 80-120 fps to V-sync. You could always try a fresh Windows Install ?
  3. Hey @Kiraiami.6910 what's your resolution ?Yeh something something going on there considering your hardware....As AllNightPlayer.1286 suggested try the d912pxy. You'll see a big difference. Let us know how you go
  4. Hi mate. You can use Vulkan with GW2. Please follow this guide. Once installed, you'll find for the first 30 min it might be a bit choppy as the shader cache has to be built , but then very smooth. Enjoy !I've used both the DX12 proxy and this and find they are pretty much on-par :) You can download the latest version from here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
  5. You're welcome mate ! I was sceptical that the GPU upgrade would make much of a difference. I'm very happy with the investment. I forgot to say I'm using a 1440p monitor.
  6. @ Carousel.7523 , I forgot to pass on feedback regarding my gpu upgrade. It's made a big difference being able to max out all settings without impacting fps (except character model limit which I keep at low to minimise CPU bound scenarious)
  7. I recommend giving the DX9 to DX12 API a go. There were performance improvements when I was using a gtx970 and I've recently upgraded to amd rx5700xt. Make sure you read through the guide and installation process. There are quite a few benchmarks on YouTube with comparisons but the best way is to run tests in game in CPU limited scenarios and note the difference!https://github.com/megai2/d912pxy
  8. I am not "hideous" I am me.Chromatic Ooze King.
