    I've been playing around with different specs, and could not find the answer to this question in recent forum posts. What is the strongest character / spec for AOE damage for open world content, either ranged or melee? I'd like to kite mobs, gather them up, and burn them down. Rinse and repeat.

    Why do you recommend opening before salvage? If I open a yellow item, is there a chance to get a better quality? For someone who has all highest (pink) level gear, can I get an upgrade?

    I am still in the guild I joined when I first started playing GW2. Not many people log in, but there is a handful of players still active. I started playing GW2 on day one. I think maybe even a Beta version if there was one?? I play with irregular irregularity. I'll play 5 days a week for a few months, then take some time off. I didn't really like the maps in HoT, so took a lot of breaks during that time.

    I have a 2017 27" iMac with the Radeon Pro 580. I installed Catalina a few days ago, and besides having to Force quit GW2 every time, the game seems to run just fine.
