  1. It is more about removing terrible gameplay elements like 1 minute of vigor on thief or unholy sanctuary on necro or rev perma resistance PASSSIVELY. All those things are passive and not active and should be hard nerfed.

  4. Good comment. I personally think all classes need nerfs. The better classes can just be nerfed in more ways.

Aim = add skill back to the game and reduce passive spam Necro - Unholy Sanctuary now has a 300 second icd (passive trait)Thief - Feline Grace now has a 15s icd (passive boons for nothing)Mesmer - Magic bullet now only applies 1 stack of confusion (overloaded skill - stun and condis is too much)Ranger - Remove vulnerability application from maul (overloaded skill - already does a ton of dps)Rev - Fiendish tenacity and Demonic defiance both have a 20s icd (passive stuff)Firebrand - Blazing edge no longer provides burning and Stoic Demeanor now longer gives slow (passive stuff and overloaded skill)Engi - Invigorating speed icd made 30 seconds (passive boons)Warrior - Whirlwind attack now has a 15s cooldown (evade spam needs to stop)Ele - Elemental attunement - reduce might to 3s, reduce prot to 3s, reduce swiftness to 5s, reduce regen to 3s (stop passive boon spam) What would your 1 nerf for every class be? If these changes happened the game would be a lot more skill-based. Every class has OP aspects that need to be changed - often passive buffs.
  6. Depends what you want. PvP isn't very skill based. If you want skill based pvp I suggest going to an FPS or league/Dota. PvP is generally dictated by the build you play. Most builds play themselves because they are packed full of passive triggers that give you boons just for clicking skills.
  7. They aren't balancing for 2v2 which makes it stupid to have only 2v2 as ranked after a massive balance patch. So they get no actual feedback on balance. Disaster development.
  8. Ranger pets randomly stunning needs to end and those pets in particular need massive dps nerfs. In general I think the pets need significant dps nerfs. And it is almost like they forgot to nerf rangers burst. It is INSANE still. Such an OP build.
  9. Not in conquest. Those need nerfing too. But ranger still does way too much damage, cc and mobility. And condi rev is the best spec with insane pressure and evasion. Every class needs its sustain nerfed too. They didn't do it enough. All heals should be reduced again a little and regen should be less spammable.
  10. Greatsword/longbow is still easy mode. The pets do too much damage and in general this build has too much burst for how much mobility it has. Condi rev is obviously the best spec in the game. Perma resistance is stupid.
  11. 1) Nerfing the 3% life force degeneration of core is a better solution than everything you suggested because your suggestions nerf reaper and scourge to unacceptable levels. 2) You didn't figure out what most players did not figure out yet: every single core spec in the game has gotten a ton of sustain (more than core necro in some cases) with the overall damage nerf since all core specs can run the 2 defensive traitlines and the class mechanic traitline at once. The counter to that is a build that runs the 2 offensive traitlines and either the class mechanic traitline or the elite spec traitline at once. This should be a no brainer... but... you are welcome! That would be fine too, nerfing 3% life degen would be fine. But also they should nerf the signet. That is the biggest problem above all else.

  13. It is so braindead. Literally anyone can play necro and do well. Suggestions:1, Nerf signet of undeath by a lot2, Nerf the life force gain from unholy martyr3, Nerf the cooldown of unholy sanctuary - you made all the rest of these 300 seconds cooldown except this4, Nerf life siphon traits by about 5-10%5, Reduce the condi damage reduction from dark defiance Also buff boon corruption back a bit. Necro condi damage is terrible currently and there is too many boons. Suggestion: give corrupt boon 3 corrupts again. You increased the cooldown anyway.
  14. People are just crying about 2v2 specs. In 5v5 the game seems fairly balanced except (imo) condi rev, ele and firebrand are too strong. The rest are fine in conquest.In 2v2 lame try-hard sustain specs are good but in conquest they are trash tier.

Some of the best players I have seen have been on mirage. I suggest finding out their builds and working on your game to get to their level!

  18. ok well i dont agree with all of this but some of it might be ok Undeath going back to 2% from 3%I was a user of Undeath for over a year before it got buffed and it was fine back then juts that everyone elses damage was so high that shroud melted too fast so we needed more lf.Fear of death should drop to 10% from 15%cutting it in half is a bit much. but droping it by 33% to start would be more in line with the other changes not 50%Soul battery is fine actually dont touch it its not the problem you are litteraly aiming blind now.Gluttony again is actually fine too its also not the problem keep in mind that 10% turns 3% gain into a 3.3% gain its not as big as you think. For a minor to only have that fuction and nothing else tapped onto its fine. Your other suggestions also cut direct sources of incoming LF gain dont also nerf the minior thats meant boost the gains slightly and serves no other function. Vampiric rituals will need a healing reduction per well pulse cut it by 33% or so Thats honestly all you need to touch at most for right now.UndeathFear of DeathVamp rituals That is fair.   20. Sustain seems higher because people are in deathmatch. Deathmatch is a joke because people are kite and stay alive. That has never changed in the history of the game.
  21. I have played this game for 8 years and this is the most broken spec. Combines being far and away the BEST spec with also being unfun to fight against. Bunker mesmer was balanced compared to this. Bonus points for making a build that is:1, Broken OP2, Never dies3, Has visual clutter that is annoying4, Does insane damage5, Is face-roll easy6, Is amazing in every game mode7, Has an insane amount of CC Impressive that all 7 of those things are achieved.
  22. build that I use only has soul batter and gluttony from the things mentioned.it will go from 72k effective HP to about 68kdo you think that is good enough of a nerf? Fear of death nerf removes a ton of LF generation. But this needs to come in alongside nerfs to every other class. For example, Mirage still vomits too many conditions. Your build sounds terrible.
  23. I'd like to see them nerf life force generation and max life force. Something like this:1, Signet of undeath less effective2, Fear of death gives 7% life force (not 15%)3, Soul battery - max life force increased by 10%, not 20%.4, Gluttony - increased LF gain is 5% not 10% With all these changes I think necro might be kind of terrible. So I would like to see stability put on spectral armour (and lower protection up time) to stop the CC chaining. Obviously these nerfs need to come in alongside nerfs to every other class too, as every class has things over-performing. Literally every class needs nerfs, obviously firebrand, a few ele specs, ranger pets, thief stealth, rev invincibility, mirage condi spam, etc etc all need nerfing still.
