Experiencing the same issues with minions disappearing/resetting upon mount/dismount. Bad for when you need your golem for bar break......but you're having to wait for the cooldown timer. I'll keep fingers crossed that this will get resolved.

Glad I read the post by Cragga the Eighty Third. To give those who might want a tad bit more pinpoint info : when you zone in through the portal to Sun's Refuge, look on your map, Gorrik & his symbol will be near the "d" and the "P" in the words Command Post.
