As there are some differences between PvP and WvW, are you mainly looking for a havoc/roaming group?

As you mention having a thief main, are you mainly looking to be part of a havoc group? The reason that I ask is that thief isn't generally part of a normal fight team composition.

What would be your high level character currently? Also, are you looking to stay on NSP for WvW purposes?

It sounds like you may be looking for a PvX guild at this stage. These guilds usually have a core of PvE with some dabbling in the other game modes.

For Heart of Thorns maps, you can try checking LFG for Hero Point trains. Having said that, getting the points through the Path of Fire maps is easier since you don't have to fight champions. It may also be worthwhile to check out metabattle.com or a similar website for good starting point with builds.

I know that there are guilds that specialize in havoc/roaming, but I am not sure if there are guilds on Mag recruiting from that. For the most part, Mag is famous for their cloud fighting style in EBG that may or may not have the support of a guild.
