So I had a really hard time beating this boss. I'm a necromancer, and here's how I did it. First of all, summon all of your demons. Then walk forward toward him carefully until your demons start to attack him. Do not get so close that he starts running after you. After this, stay where you are and let your demons do the work. He doesn't notice the demons at all, so you can kill him without him noticing.
