  1. Yeah make it 900 because 600 is too low. Any other class has longer range skills including guardian/warrior/mesmer. And now with thief which supposed to be fast(stealthy) it requires me to go that close range to land swipe

You can have for example jackal mount having the same running speed and same dodges, but maybe add different skills, maybe instead of maul you add a support skill when you dismount, mounts help you to move around the map and makes the game more interesting, with the warclaw arrow you can easily dismount someone if you do it right, but having only one mount for me its too simple. You can definitely add new things that will make the game more fun. I like the fact that warclaw has some skills that you can use in wvw. Add jackal as a support mount.
  3. The title says it all. While every other mode gets something new, maybe new map, new quest, new content, wvw just stays the same, and we can see that there was a decrease in some servers. Wvw is fun dont get me wrong, but i think arenanet can focus on adding new objectives into the game, maybe a boss spawn that 2 guilds will have to kill. Maybe a new map? Maybe a bigger more complex castles? Or maybe add big bonuses for someone who has a castle that way it really matters who has the castles. Right now, there isn’t any big incentive to get the castle.. you captured it and that’s it. Make it more interesting...

  5. The fact that we got only warclaw in wvw i think its too simple, while other game modes get to enjoy their mounts. I know it has to do with balance, but how about adding jackal in wvw and make it with 2 dodges and same functionality as warclaw. You basically adding more fun in wvw and diversity. Plus there aren’t that many warclaw options anyways. So everybody is the same.
  6. I know people hate thiefs in Wvw but they have been nerfed quite a lot. Rangers have 1500 range on longbow and swipe is only 600 range on daredevil. I know thiefs have high mobility but 600 is too low to be viable.. make it at least 900 less than actual steal.
  7. It's very difficult to measure meaningful contribution to victory. I know, but your end stats, like your kills, if you capped points, your damage and heal points at the end should matter when it comes to rank. If you worked hard you should lose less points depending on your work
  8. I think that even if you lost a game, maybe you shouldn’t lose a lot of points if you really put effort to the game but lost cuz of otherss. Why losing points because you played with a bot or you had an afker. Its not fair. At least make it based on your contribution!
  9. Yeah comparinf Gw2 to lol or dota totally wrong, its bot the same at all. Gw2 pvp is already too limited by having to play only in maps in the mist, the problem here is also that they don’t update it! There is a lot of cool things they can do including better balances. Like i said earlier gw2 have new pve content all the time, but pvp not really. They need to focus in evert aspect of the game because the community is not just pve players. And why be limited to the same maps same modes over and over again? Do you think that’s good? I think they need to stop thinking what are the things that only makes them money such as skins and the gem store, and improve the gamestyle, make it more interesting, because trust me the more fun it is, the more people gonna play, therefore more people gonna buy!
  10. They need to add deathmatch, add the option of 2vw or 3v3 and add new maps or battleground with missions or events, or like a daily boss or something that you got to fight against other groups for the boss
  11. Totally agree man. After a while it gets boring! How many times you gonna play the same mode, same map, over and over again?
  12. Yeah but you have to find a way to fix bots/ afkers, and imbalanced teams. If the other team has a good thief you are screwed. You lost the game. Since its pvp it should be more focused on player kills and not just capturing. They can do deathmatch, and have a cap point like the bell for extra points, for me that would make more sense
  13. Hi Devs, and people, I have been discussing this issue for a while with people and my guild and we come to realization that we need more pvp content! We need new maps, and new modes! Maybe a battleground which is based on pvp not like WvW. Conquest is nice don’t get me wrong, but for example in ranked, teams aren’t always fair. Sometimes teams are unbalanced, sometimes you lose because the other team has a thief or better mobility, sometimes you lose because you have an afk/bot (which happens a lot) and overall it creates frustration! Now how this can be fixed. If you add different modes such as Deathmatch but maybe without downed state, if someone dies that’s it, (no resurrection) that way even if you play 1v3 and you know what you doing, you are able to beat all of them. If its 3v1 and you kill one player, one of the other players will res him back up so your effort then becomes pointless. (You could make that optional before the game starts and see how it goes). Another thing is that maybe the punishments for afk/botting/ game manipulating should be more rough that way we mitigate the issue.?How about the option of 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or even 15v15 vs a boss pvp battle. If you add the option of 3v3 for example, people can organize parties with friends and play ranked without having to play with bots or afkers.(New Maps) I see a lot of people utilizing the public pvp arena in the mist. How about creating a whole map like a battleground so we can enjoy a bigger map like all the other modes (Pve, Wvw). Please don’t compare a battleground to Wvw because Wvw is mostly 100vs100vs100. Here im talking about smaller squads, or even 1v1 and maybe have different objectives or missions in those maps. I personally think that Gw2 is a great game but we need more pvp content! Pve content gets updated and freshed up all the time, where in pvp we stuck with the same few maps that we have to be frustrated about. Make pvp fun! Thanks for taking the time and reading my post.

  15. You guys say its not possible. Everything is possible to happen, as long as there is community to support it. I personally don’t really like pve but doesn’t mean I don’t support it for the pve players. It doesn’t mean i will put all my time into pve.A lot of mmos have done it nicely and fair. There are ways to implement such a thing like WoW does , war mode on/off whoever doesn’t want it keep it off and mind your business. Today actually i was speaking with 3 of my guilds mix of pve/wvw/pvp guilds and they were all supporting the idea of merging all modes together. Gw2 is one of the best mmos (not because they don’t have open world pvp) but because of its graphics, its story, the mounts, the quests. So taking a game like that and adding something that will benefit pvp junkies too will be perfect. The map is huge. How about making some of the map of the end game an open pvp zone and remove any story mode missions from there. Whoever wants can go there. Far away from other pve people. After all its called guildwars and wvw 100vs100 is not that fun imo. You can do organized parties vs parties against bosses with healers maybe 10v10 in a pve map. There is so many things that can be done and not only expansions that have fresh content for pve players only. Hopefully anet take it to consideration and add something. Huge amount of options of things that u can do, plus it’ll worth more to craft for legandary if stats count in pvp. More money for you guys.
  16. I agree with a lot of folks here, PvE gets updated all the time with new fresh content, while pvp/wvw stays the same. I am a pvp player myself, and to be honest after i played pvp and wvw for a month now, the same maps and modes gets boring. It seems that there is a lot of people who do actually enjoy pvp/ GvG and its such a cool graphic game that I think Anet should put the time and effort to implement an open world pvp system that is fair for both pve players and pvp. Most mmos using systems like toggle on/off or special areas, or maybe special hours. Another idea is, since there are metas and events happening every day, what if randomly you add 45 mins of war in a random city that enables pvp almost like real war. This 45 mins people will have to join with their guilds/teams to do metas together against other people. Make a system that protects new players/ low level players. And bring all the modes together. Farming for legandary then will matter more if you wanna be stronger, it will make the game more interesting doing party vs party against a boss, or an event. Doing repeatedly events vs NPCs I don’t find that that interesting unless u mix both.
