  1. Even though I was never good at PvP, it was my only choice to try and get a legendary armor, because WvW is just a walking simulator with no real sense of progression and I couldn't find anyone to so raids with at the time. So, for a long time, I have all the items already crafted and I'm only missing the precursors. After a few months not playing PvP, I got into it again just to find out Anet completely destroyed the only build I could play and keep 50% winrate: my beloved trapper ancient seeds druid. Now I'm completely unable to play PvP in a effective manner (10 losses in a row, not that the other players weren't as bad or even worse than me). Wft can I do know? Who can I hold responsible for destroying the work I had put over 700 pvp matches? This kittening items are untradeble and I can't finish the rest because I'm literally uncapable of playing well with any other build.
  2. I finally got it, and I suggest someone include the following in the wiki. In the event of having started the achievement with one character and wanting to finish with another, the achievement might bug. What happened was that the game did not recognize the earlier parts even though they were marked as complete, so when I tried to redo the inicial recipes of the charr line everything started working. I did the 3 recipes, talked with the NPC and then Vaastas was avaliable and the Slab of poultry meat I dropped worked for the achievement. Thank you for the attention, I really hope no one has to figure this out alone again.
  3. I think the character might be the problem. I didn't even remembered I started this achievement, and I'm sure the original character was deleted a long time ago. But I'm doing (or trying to do) in another character, lvl 500 chef. I'm able to drop the Slab of Poultry Meat (though the drop rate is bot good), but the achievement won't progress and Vaastas has no dialogue options regarding the achievement.
  4. I'm trying to do the Charr part where you need to bring Vaastas a Slab of Poultry Meat. I already tried doing the cows event two times, but after he kills them he just turns into a merchant and doesn't give options to deliver the item. I can't understand wtf is going on and I'm out of ideas on how to complete this part of the achievement. EDIT: I figured out the problem isn't Vaastas, it's just that the Gourmet Training achievement isn't progressing, no matter how many Slab of Poultry Meat I drop.
  5. I want to make a legendary armor for some time now, but when I went to look how to do it, I got really disappointed. First, we have the WvW legendary armor, tailored for those who have enough cash or luck to be in a server with a big WvW guild (my free server change was used a long time ago); then, we have Raid armor, tailored for players that actually play with other people and do not get annoyed; and third, we have PvP armor, the one type that depends ONLY on the player himself on his willingness to play PvP. This quick examination, showed me that there isn't an legendary armor for PVE, since a decent amount of players don't have the time nor the inclination to keep track of other players irl (my case). Even then, I still tried to get into Raids, but the two times I actually entered a guild and went to the so called "raid training", the players just keep talking about meaningless kitten for several minutes even after the group is full instead of actually starting the Raid, which got me very angry and made me quit since I abhorre wasting time. So, since I'm not in a decent WvW server, nor do I like to play PvP or want to get into the mess called Raids, why can't solo players like me (that don't have absolutely no problem with going into LFG stuff, like fractals) have a legendary armor that doesn't depend on other people?
  6. Could you make it so the player can sell the Gifts of Battle, even if for a fixed price? I don't care if it cost 50g, 100g or 10000g, I'd rather farm the gold than to spend a single minute inside this game mode. No commanders, absolutely, almost no one, nothing to do. It's basically a walking simulator where people kill you for nothing and you lose participation, which means you to go under the torture of playing WvW for even more time. By making them not bound, players that enjoy WvW would be happy and players that do not would be able to never step into the battlegrounds ever again.
  7. Please, put on the game the possibility of farming gift of battle on another content. WvW is an walking simulator with a ridiculous slow progress. I understand it should take some time to complete the reward track, but if I compare WvW with PvP, for instance, I get several times the progress of any reward track on PvP in the same amount of time, and it doesn't make me wanna sleep. It's not understandable at all why you would want to lock a whole part of the game behind a game mode so unbearable. If WvW needs such a predatory method to even exist, it probably shoudn't exist anymore.
  8. Less than 48 hours ago, I cleaned a character I wanted to delete, passed all my itens (two full ascended armor sets, 10 ascended trinkets, 4 ascended weapons, 12 superior runes and 4 superior sigils) to my main character. Since my human character look all alike and have similar names, I deleted my main character by mistake and realized only about 24 hours later. I, then, completely freaked out, went to support, where I was informed they could not restore my character, which probably every player agrees that's bs. Regardless of that, the GM that helped me, managed to reduce my loss of about 900g to about 700~750g (work for which I'm grateful), not to mention the countless hours of gameplay and different kinds of farming. So, for that this situation never occurs with another player, I suggest that a lock system gets implemented, just a big padlock in every character screen. When a player decides that he/she will never delete said character, he clicks on the lock, which prevents an accidental deletion. Most players probably don't care about this amount of gold, but I'm certain that for several player like myself, who have nothing but time to put in the game, this would be a grateful change.
  9. A few minutes ago I decided to get the Runic Shaman Set from Eye of the north, since I had enough blue prophet shards from the return achievements and the skins look cool. I made I mistake and bought the Runic Slayer Set, and now I need to get more ~~500 blue prophet crystals, but I find strike mission to be extremely boring and hard to find a squad, but that is not the problem; The problem is that now I need to do a few hundred strike missions to get exotic armor skins and this is just kitten and I refuse to do it, which means I will never have this skins unless the people at ArenaNET balance this. Thank you for your patience and understanding, sorry for any English mistakes.
  10. This is NOT meta. This is normal common non speed chill run with giuld members or pugs wihtout kp. Sorry, but you shouldn't ever need 3 healers to survive normal T4 fractals. I have never seen a PUG group require 3 healers (then again, I often would go heal scourge in the past. Last few months I've only run CMs +T4, so maybe PUG groups have become this terrible). Drop all those healers and take a heal scourge if the group performance is that bad. It will both prove a far better carry and you are free to take up to 4 dps which cuts encounter time (and thus damage taken) significantly. Or make a 5 scourge group to cheese the content. That's actually one of the biggest mistakes weak groups make: assume more healing will make fractals easier, when in fact, it often makes it worse. Having enough damage to clear regular enemies in normal T4s is a huge aspect of reducing damage taken to the group. Do you have a link for your scourge build? Its still strong after the last few months? Which gear do you use? You can use the metabattle build as baseline: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Scourge_-_Support_Healer Things to note first and foremost:running scourge is NOT meta in fractals, due to lack of boons, and there will be players who might refuse to group herethis is a strong carry for weak players because it can out-heal pretty much most things thrown at the group. This still requires some competence on the heal scourges parttaking a heal scourge, or heal tempest, in fractals is recommended over taking 2-3 healers. Then again, groups that take 2 or 3 healers will likely benefit of reducing those slots to 1 healer as far as party dps is concerned If considering trying this build, I would probably start with the Magi variant in T2 or T3 fractals to get a feel for the build, plus the benefit here is that exotic magi gear is very easy to acquire (armor and weapons off the TP), trinkets can be gained via the usual places like Living World content. Or go strait for the hybrid build, though that gear will be more expensive. Make sure to read the notes on traits, since some of the traits can greatly change how this build plays, most notably Harbinger Shroud, which is a very strong aoe barrier, but creates a huge yellow circle below the Shade and the necromancer indicating when the barrier triggers. This requires the necromancer to have a good understanding of mechanics because his visibility on ground effects will be impaired (I would recommend to start with Desert Empowerment over Harbinger Shroud since it is easier to use, even if I personally prefer Harbinger myself). Thanks for the in depth explanation, really hard to come by; most people just advise me to run a random dps profession ;D. Which exact gear combination are you talking about in a hybrid build? Ministrel, Apothecary, a combination between prefixes?

  12. I Just defeated Caudecus for the second time. The First was with a Soulbeast and it's not even worth mentioning. This time I used a Herald with Full ascended trailblazer (except trinkets). I am a ok player and due to the enormous tanking potencial of my character, I managed to take almost no damage until Caudecus reached 20% Hp. Then a Veteran jade whatever appeared to punch me for about 8k on each hit. That aside, the cc chain is an absurd. I downed a few times and died three. Personal Conclusion: a decent player on a very tanky build could do It without die or even go down. That Said, Mordremoth ia nothing but a single pocket raptor near Caudecus and his hellish cc chain.
