Honestly let's just cut the 2nd half of the meta again and add the loot to the first half. This meta was a dud on launch.

I'd love it if ArenaNet put as much care and attention in UI as you just did. Neat stuff! Sure would make my bloodstone farming easier too.

Story was great. Maps are fun. Meta events, not so much.
I think what's most frustrating is the radio silence. We haven't had a decent livestream since pre-End of Dragons. The only blog posts we get now are once a quarter. The silence kittening sucks.

Here are my thoughts:
AA: range spear throw that enemies in a line and pierces and does more dmg if you have might. (I don't think that the aa should do anything supporty because that would introduce powercreep and weird balance)
2 skill: throw a banner into an enemy and dmg them allies within the radius gain might and heal, enemies gain weakness (pulsing)
3 skill: conjure a balustrade at the target location enemies in front gain damage and bleed, allies behind it gain protection (pulsing)
4 skill: call down a rain of spears at the location damaging foes and granting swiftness and fury to allies
5 skill: evade forwards, gain swiftness and adrenaline.
burst: throw a banner into the enemy dmging it and pulse alac to allies near it
berserker burst: throw spear into an enemy which pulses burning, bleeding, cripple to any of its allies in a radius around it.
spellbreaker burst: throw a spear into an enemy, the first 7 boons applied to it and then reduces any boon durations after by 25% for a few seconds
notes: this a rough idea and I am open to suggestions.
Why would the Spellbreaker burst be different than Core?

I mostly play power builds so nothing has changed.

The PoF one is my favorite now. The portal guy will send you back to your previous map, and since it's connected to the Crystal Oasis zone, you can do a bit of gathering and farming while you're there.

Finally, I don't have to scoff at being recommended Rune of the Thief on a power build, which is littered condition damage but also has an incredible 6th bonus of +10% strike damage.
This isn't vertical progression, it's rebalancing.

Tried 'em.
- Warrior has no condi build other than Berserker so Torch stays there.
- Axe is better than Pistol on the other specs because none of the other specs work with ammo/explosions.
- Dagger has a nice looking burst but I'm not sure where the offhand or main hand would be better than axe or pistol on the other power specs.

My first thought was honestly that they must have miss-typed "chance" instead of "damage". It must be a mistake. Conditional crit increases (like we also have on Attacker's Insight) aren't beneficial.

Goobers in this thread really assuming that Legendary Relics would be a loophole to get them SOTO relics when they couldn't before because they're all account bound and tied to achievements.
Brilliant.
