I really like this event overall, but it was was a painful reminder of how buggy the Elon Riverlands and Desolation meta events are. Everyone yelling at each other in map chat about the best way to get the Doppelganger to play nice since it doesn't want to chase anyone anymore, and I don't even know what's going on with the Maws of Torment realm spiking event. It seems to just get skipped and cause the NPCs to repeat their lines over and over.

Ducking doomers, man.

I just want the Staff spear skins to become actual Spear skins (sunspear and darkspear to start).

It's rifle with splash instead of pierce. Rifle has a cooldown mechanic and something on its dodge back skill as well.

It really does feel like Rifle doesn't it.

Warrior doesn't need flashy effects. New, weighty animations world be nice though.

I'm never gonna financially recover from not building a legendary rune at a couple hundred gold before the Legendary Relic patch came out (which now hovers around 1.5K gold).

I'll take 60 stacks of lucent motes instead of a legendary weapon this time around, thanks.

Goobers in this thread really assuming that Legendary Relics would be a loophole to get them SOTO relics when they couldn't before because they're all account bound and tied to achievements. Brilliant.

Honestly let's just cut the 2nd half of the meta again and add the loot to the first half. This meta was a dud on launch.

I'd love it if ArenaNet put as much care and attention in UI as you just did. Neat stuff! Sure would make my bloodstone farming easier too.

Story was great. Maps are fun. Meta events, not so much. I think what's most frustrating is the radio silence. We haven't had a decent livestream since pre-End of Dragons. The only blog posts we get now are once a quarter. The silence kittening sucks.

Sure would be nice if this was fixed.

I mostly play power builds so nothing has changed.

The PoF one is my favorite now. The portal guy will send you back to your previous map, and since it's connected to the Crystal Oasis zone, you can do a bit of gathering and farming while you're there.
