I am having the same or similar issue. If in area with lots of people like wvw or a meta event especially Drizzlewood, my game freezes and seems to have a "stop frame" effect. Everything gets really blurry. I am unable to actually see what is going on. sometimes screen simply freezes. A guild mate has had problems too-- her game freezes and the dcs.

Happened to me also. Was instructed to "check forums" and that "devs are aware."

I thank you for info. I did as you suggested and send a crash report. Anet did respond and had me change a couple of settings, and it worked. And yes that was the site I tried. I hope others can benefit-- change streaming to "On Demand" and frame rate to 30. Worked for me!

I have a thread posted about the same story event. Mine has happened after beating Facet of Light and going to start cut scene. The response from anet was " is it a crash or a dc-- there is a difference" which really is of no use whatsoever. And after a second post was told to find an old Dev thread-- found it -- and it no longer exists. So good luck getting any help.

Have been searching for the "storyline disconnects" and cannot find it. found one link-- but when I clicked on it-- said it did not exist. Oh well, guess I won't be finishing this set of bonus events. Instead of sending players all over the place to solve a problem, maybe ,since I am reading about many freezes, crashes, disconnects lately-- you guys FIX it.

Well I can tell you that I could not send a bug report because I did disconnect. but first the game simply froze when I tried -- on 2 different days-- to hit the crystal after killing Facet of light to progress the story. I simply will not be able to continue with the Return and bonus events until it is fixed-- and I am not alone w/ this problem.

Adorabelle, my game has crashed during Hidden Arcana storyline, and or actually game froze and then I disconnected, so I could not send a bug report. We had multipple crashed from guild members during WVW run last night also.

Both times I have was in story part Hidden arcana, after I beat the Facet of Light and then try to interact with the crystal , my has crashed. Now I will have to start if over a THIRD time. I know I won't get any specific help-- but please fix this ASAP.
