  1. Again, this is not normal lag. Only vs large groups running Rise. Players don't render and skills don't work. My group can move away from Rise spamming group and our skills work again. We can move maps and have a 3 way with no Rise comps and not experience the same lag. Devs need to fix it. I am confident they will take a look. I hope they do please.
  2. It keeps getting worse, but people defend it. Everybody should run RISE in our comps. Lets all do it.
  3. Bump.. Devs need to take a look at this. Don't delete or nerf necro just fix Rise please. It is getting pretty bad. It is only going to get worse.
  4. Witch hunt? Ok... I only know of a couple of guilds doing it now. They don't raid everyday either. Is it possible you and your server have not encountered it yet? Just wait until the kitten spreads.
  5. @Burnfall.9573 I am going to assume that you are a necro main based your response. This thread is not an attack on the necromancer profession. While rise has been around since 2015, nobody has been using it to this capacity, or coordinating it in such a way that is causing the current super lag that is originates from these rise exploiting groups. Soon more and more guilds will start using it and the game will become more and more unplayable. Hopefully, Anet is investigating this, and I hope they figure out a solution that does not delete this option for necromancers. I believe this is an elephant in the room situation that needs to be addressed before it manifests into something bigger. Maybe it is just a server issue in conjunction with the way rise is being used in these groups. Who knows? But it needs to be addressed before it gets worse.

  7. I have 4 accounts (for those of you on the dev discord talking about transparency when it comes to guilds in relation to this thread). I have no beef with said guilds. However, I am aware that both of guilds that I know who are using rise are100% aware of what they are doing. They don't care. My concern is real. It is a real problem. Other guilds will use it. At some point the game will become unplayable until devs do something about it. ::EDIT:: TBH I am not sure why people care more in the dev discord about what guild that I from than actually addressing the issue.
  8. I would 100% be open for 20 player squads in general. I think it would be nice. However, I am unsure if that would fix the current exploit issue.
  9. And to be clear. I am super concerned about the ramifications of what might happen if every guild does this. Who wants to play game in which you can't cast any skills?
  10. soul was the first guild I saw running it.. it is starting to catch on with other guilds. Maybe everybody should do it and completely break the game since devs don't seem to care? This is a legit exploit (not a cheat, so no beef). It needs to be fixed. I give them props for being smart and actually to bringing light to it.
  11. I wonder where this recent lag is actually coming from. Perhaps we need to "(spam) rise" to the occasion and get better servers. I am sure it will fix the problem. Maybe if everybody "(spam) rise" to the occasion and pretend there is no elephant in the room and this game will be more fun. It would be pretty interesting.
  12. What I am experiencing for the most part does not happen vs 2 map blobs ever. It is only vs groups exploiting Rise. It is the most broken thing I have ever seen in any game period.
  13. It is completely busted at this point. More and more guilds are starting exploit this to cause crazy skill/server lag. It is not fun fighting groups in which I can't cast a skill. WvW will die quickly if something is not done soon. Please do something about it.
  14. It is really no big deal. It is just a game. People talk smack all the time but who really cares? It is not real life so why does it matter?
  15. Who wants 5 second large scale epic battles? We all know how that panned out in spvp balance.. sPvP is a joke now
