been playing gw1/2 since 2006.   seen this comment by you for the first time today,   "I am feeling the same downfall of GW2 as I felt it with GW1."   For the last month I've been feeling the same way.  I love gw1/2,  right now they seem to be running in circles and going no where.   Was thinking today,  maybe I should take a break from the game and come back after they drop the 3rd installment of whatever xpac comes after SoTo   and hope for the best.

same I've seen it happen.  Would get participation from pre events then see it drop afterwards.  Only seen it happen a few times.  Thought I wasn't doing enough.

farmed enough rifts to make  216 amalgamated kryptis. Ended up with getting 8 to drop but two of them was the dagger.  Resigned to the fact I will never finish the collection.  Getting duplicates on a set that's already difficult burned me out for even trying.

I had that happen once,  they fixed it.  Told me not to use a VPN.  Which I wasn't,  didn't even know what a VPN was at the time so had to read up on it to make sure I wasn't.  Also my whole family plays so creating a new account for the youngest one set something off.  All I know is they fixed whatever the problem was.  Give them time.

I mentioned this in a different thread first day of release I think.  Maybe they aren't giving map currency because we are able to get considerably more gasps from orbs.  In skywatch it's around 100 a day.  I noticed in nayos it's over 250 a day  before they are capped.  I really don't know the reason.  Just guessing.

Thanks for the wiki info,  I picked one up today because of your input.   I have banker  but it doesn't benefit others. Got it  so others in squad can have access to their bank. Love the way it works.

I like the current way they work.  If you're getting there late after you close one,  I think you need to move a little faster.  imo any more delay  would only make people farming them take longer.

2  minutes would be fine,  15 min is a silly amount of time to expect or ask for.  Most boss fights are less than 15 min.

It's a pain for sure like the variants.   Thankfully I have a weekly key runner.  I put stuff  that needs typed out on it before I delete it to make a new one.  Getting a transmute charge would be a nice move from Anet.

I was in a wvw  guild before they started giving us levels.  Stopped wvw around that time,  I felt after some time,  it was the most boring thing one could do in the game.  Lots of friends completely disagree with me.  After finishing raid armors I considered doing wvw again for that armor.  after looking what all I would need I was like, yup that's not for me.  I felt the grind would have been more than I was willing to commit to.  Grats on your armor btw you did more than I could have.

Same here, it's not about getting leg armor, its about accomplishing a goal.  Also having full leg armor, all 3 sets from raiding.  It reaches a point where it's repetitive as well.  Sure they are different and different types of repeating the same thing over and over.   Raid armor was a grind to.  I didn't say I was talking directly to you, stopped reading after so many complaints and just posted my opinion.  Took me longer to get raid armor than it will to get pve armor.   It's simple, if a person doesn't want to do it,  dont do it.   If I can farm enough essence in less than 6 weeks for all 3 sets, then everyone in the game has plenty of time to get what they need.

I think I'm  an average player as far as skill and gold ect.  The only thing I may have is a little more time than the average player.  Finished crafting the 18 gifts of expertise last week.  If I can do it, anyone can. Maybe some people should  spend less time on the forum complaining and play the game.   They made farming essence so easy you can binge watch tv while farming.

mine is the surfboard.   Years ago I suggested they make something like the Silver Surfer's board.  I doubt it was my idea that got them to make it but love it.
