Once again, it is now not the case that neither of them got legendary, is it? The reality is that Player A got legendary which is not supposed to happen and Player B did not. How should they fix it? let it go? like they made a mistake resulting in some players getting ahead and some others not. Basically, was Player A supposed to get that extra legendary item? If the answer is no, what should Anet do next? Nothing?

Let me explain with the following example. Assume there are two players: A and B. Both had a slumbering Conflux and Conflux. Player A upgraded their slumbering Conflux to Conflux an hour before the patch. Player B upgraded their slumbering Conflux to Conflux an hour after the patch. Player A ended up with one more legendary item than Player B did. 1. Player A should not have gotten that extra legendary item. In fact, neither of them should. 2. Given that Player A was mistakenly given the extra legendary item, an action must be done since a mistake had been made. 3. Lastly, any of this is not any player's fault.

If this is true, it is so unfair for people who upgraded their slumbering conflux after the patch when they could have done so easily before the patch. It is interesting that they told us to wait for the vendor when what we could have done was to upgrade the slumbering conflux for a 20-30 golds and ..poof.. one legendary for free. I assume upgrading now won't work. How are you going to fix this, ANet (if you actually read this of course)?

People who crafted slumbering trinkets just last week will have to wait for the vendor or upgrade to the awakened version themselves. However, people who crafted slumbering trinkets yesterday got the full versions and they worked perfectly with the armory. I guess, no more first come first serve. Also, no info about the time the vendor will be released. Hence, for people who currently own slumbering trinkets, good luck deciding whether to wait for the vendor or to upgrade them yourselves. If you are unlucky, maybe the vendor will be out when you have won 19 AT matches. And as they have said you are impatient. -

They still haven't told us when the vendor will be released. I bet there will be some people who will have won 19 AT matches by the day they announce the time of releasing the vendor. Issues like this will keep happening unless they are addressed now. Let us know when the vendor will be out. -

This means that people who started working on those trinkets early on and finished the slumbering versions before July 13 will get to use those trinkets with the armory after people who started working on those trinkets later and finish after July 13 but before the vendor comes out. I still can't understand why you wouldn't remove the acquisition of slumbering trinkets at the same time as releasing the vendor. Now, I guess it is good for those people who did not put too much effort and managed to craft slumbering trinkets between July 13 and the time the vendor comes out. At this point, could you tell us, people who put in effort and unfortunately finished the slumbering versions before July 13, when the vendor will come out ? so we can decide whether we are impatient enough. Is this too much to ask after we unfortunately crafted the slumbering versions before July 13? Ps. This is interesting given that you will even reach out to 0.008% of the players, those who own more account-bound copies of a unique legendary item than their Legendary Armory can hold. -

Starting July 13, if you try to craft slumbering trinkets, you will get the awakened ones instead. Basically, you won't be able to produce any new slumbering ones. This is what I meant by 'removal.' For those who currently own slumbering trinkets, you either need to upgrade to the awakened ones or wait until the vendor is released. Therefore, if you wait until July 13, you can craft the trinkets (using the slumbering recipe) and get the awakened ones and add them in the armory right away. On the other hand, people who now have already crafted slumbering trinkets won't be able to use their trinkets with the armory on July 13. They will either have to upgrade them with some costs or wait until the vendor is released which we still do not know when. To be clear, I am not that much concerned about the extra cost nor the extra time we have to wait for the vendor. I am really curious why they would let people who crafted slumbering trinkets early on get the reward (the use of armory) strictly after people who will craft trinkets (using the slumbering recipes) between July 13 and the time the vendor comes out. They didn't really have any other choice?
