I said 80% of my games have at least 1 bot - meaning 4 out of 5 games have a bot in them. 1 bot out of 4 players is 25%. That's not an exaggeration, I really wish it was.

at least there is no bots !!!!!!!!! HAHA

You would think that after all these years of bots being rampant in PVP, something would have been done about it. Spend an hour in mists map chat and you'll see several players complaining about bots. Search the forums or reddit and you'll see hundreds of posts about the bot issue, Many posts have suggested that they believe these bots are actually ran by Arenanet, to increase player population, do decrease wait times. Although I find this difficult to believe, for what other reason is NOTHING being done? A solid 80% of my games in 2v2 currently have at least one bot and around half have 2 or even 3 bots. Many of these bots, I have encountered several times over the last couple of months, and I wonder how many times do they need to be reported before anything would be done? They're literally racking up 1-2 THOUSAND games per season. And also likely mailing all gold and other rewards over to their main account. You can spot them before the game has even started. If we can see it, why can't ArenaNet? Do they not care? Do they not have the know how to put anti-cheat measures in place? Do they not have the resources? Do they just trash the hundreds of reports they rack up per season? What actually is it that's stopping the developers from resolving this issue that has plagued the game mode for years? The game mode in general is my favourite aspect of the game, but it's becoming really difficult to motivate myself to play PLAYER vs PLAYER when really its Player vs Bots

Season 28 finished today, and I can't find any information as to when the 'off/mini season' or new full season will start. Does anyone know?

I have deleted the file as advised above and it just creates a new one when I attempt the instance/cutscene again. raised a ticket with support to see if they know anything. I've completed uninstalled/reinstalled the game also and no difference.

just to clarify, it is happening when there is a cutscene on the story line. e.g clicking 'yes to enter instance', which was the POF instance on the boat in lions arch, and then for HOT it was the last stage of the 'prologue' where you walk up to the storyline marker and the cutscene automatically starts once you're in range. (just to confirm the cutscene doesn't start, i don't see any of it, it just goes black screen and kicks me out with option to send error report.

im having this exact same issue. cutscenes on the POF and HOT storyline crash the game, meaning i'm unable to even get into/finish the first section of the story until the first cut scene. completed my story on core game through to level 80 with no issues whatsoever. did you ever manage to resolve this ? spent 12 hours today trying everything under the sun and nothing works. full reinstall the lot.

Thank you for your reply however I have done the repair on the client as stated on OP I have updated my drivers to the latest, done the -repair on the client, updated windows, and as a last resort deleted all the game files and reinstalled. Still getting this issue...

I get kicked out, I get a black screen then a box with 'a serious error has occurred'. with the error report and then option to send this to ANET. I'm not having any issues with connectivity. It seems strange this is only happening on POF and HOT storyline. All other story was fine to complete which had several cutscenes.

I notice others have also had this issue which you have commented on some time ago

Sorry I'm not stuck I realised I can waypoint out of the zone, but I can't get past the first part of HoT storyline in Silverwaste. When I get to the cutscene at the end of the zone it kicks me out. also no I do have 2 level 80 boosts in my shared inventory slot but I have not used them. This character is level 80 manually levelled. I've gone out of the zone and back in and still getting the same issue. I'm not sure how to disable/remove RAD tools program, can you assist with this? I've just also realised, that my character is now stuck in the 'training' instance in Silverwastes. I can't TPto friend out, I can't go into red zone as it just teleports me back in. I tried to delete the bink folder and it seems to just place it back in the same place, as I've got the same error the next time after deleting the folder. When my character logs in I'm already in the instance so effectively the game is now unplayable completely!

I think that's when it is crashing, as I'm starting storyline instances (the 'yes to enter instance, no to remain in world) and when it's happened either a cutscene starts or a new map loading screen and it crashes. If I delete that folder will I need to redownload the bink file ? sorry I'm not too savvy when it comes to these kind of things. Much appreciated for the time you're taking to respond
