Besides the map rewards not that great enoway, But gift of exploration is a must, it is part of gift of mastery people need their legendaries, and people should not be locked out from it, that's not fair. But you gave me an idea. New hypothetical idea Step one. You unlock 100% map completion or what it takes to get to get the gift of exploration. Step two. 250 mystic coins. Step three. Complete all the portaltoms and toss them mystic forge white 250 ectoplasm and receive tome of extreme conveniens. Basically all the portals times in one. Step four. Talk to a representative from the The Tyrian Explorers Society, perhaps Dougal Keane can help you find one. And this hypothetical NPC can ask you to collect 10 things from every map, creature drops, events, pickups items stuff like this to demonstrate that you are a true explorer. Doing this will reward you with The Tyrian Explorers Society seal of approval. Step five. Toss gift of exploration, 250 mystic coins, tome of extreme conveniens and The Tyrian Explorers Society seal of approval down the mystic forge and receive Kormirs toy globe. Using this item will make the discovered world map account bound and nett you no reward, no gift of exploration. Undiscovered maps from new expansions and living world post-icebrood saga are not auto discovered when they are available. But you only have to discover them once and then then they are done and done. But for does who wanna make legendaries and need gift of exploration, since they are now forever locked out of doing world map completion forever. I apologies for my spelling, english is not my native language and i am dyslexic, i used google to try to make it understandable. I got alts in my account but a play them seldom for i have not discovered the world map on them. Sense there are a lot or account bound things in guild wars 2, can you not create a collection tab, call it "Tyria explorer" and in this tap, there can be a separate collection for every map in the game. Say you have to collect 10 items from the map. From creatures, events, pickups items. Stuff like this, and once you have done the collection, say for kessex hills. Now kessex hills is fully discovered on all your characters as if you just finished map completion, rewards and all, it very important we do not want get cheated out of the LOOT! One of the prerequisites to unlock the collection for a map is 100% map completion on the corresponding map. or you can you create an item that makes the world map account bound... #s***-up-and-take-my-money Of course i can see the potential for abuse, like creating a character, collect the map rewards then deleting it. I have a posebul solution. There are 9 professions in the game. You can get the the complete map rewards once per profession. Creating multiple of a profession whose received map reward yield nothing beyond the first. Let me be idiotically clear, let say i bought this hypothetical item or done all the hypothetical map collections on my warrior. Creating a new warrior will not give me any rewards from map compilation just a discovered world map. But if i have one mesmer or if i don't have one mesmer so i create one mesmer it gets the rewards and map completion, but the second mesmer i create will get nothing but the map completion, just a discovered map. And you can collect the map reword once per profession. Mesmer, Guardian, Necromancer, Ranger, Elementalist, Warrior, Thief, Engineer and Revenant so 9 times and then no more. And of course map rewords thats are already clamed cant be claimed again. I don't mean to insult your intelligence with my attempt at a foolproof explanation, i just want to make sure everyone can understand what i am trying to say. I can also see how other people can feel cheated by this, i do not know if there is anyone out there who just likes to create new characters all the time to do 100% map completion for the rewards on every map just to do it all over again. But it is a possibility. I have a possible solution for that to. Create an NPC in every major city which you have to talk to, to unlock collection tab. There one can read about the consequences for buying the item or for completing the collections. Then every one can make their own choices. And for those who like to collect achievements points and do not want this thing a am suggestion, then make these collections so they yield no achievement points. You already implemented equipment templates (400 gems) and build templates (300 gems). Way create multiple professions for different builds when you only need one, who can be them all. Just give us money.

I feel you, i made my self a legendary greatsword and now the system punishes me for switching weapons out for different fights. it is annoying as hell.

I don't want to change skin and put in the sigils in or change the stats on my legendary greatsword just because i needed to swop weapons for a fight. Cant you give us a way to togel so a legendary weapon do not get put in my legendary armory when i unequip it, or do i have to make myself a new acenden greatsword for that overpowered ability of taking up 1 slot in my inventory. Clearly you didn't think this thru now did you...
