Same problem, on LogOut (i.e. character select) the location of the character is wong. Looks like a point of entry to the map, not the location where I logged off

Hello GW2 community! Returning player, played at the beginning, had a 9 year break (lol), returned ~2 months ago. 9 years ago I used to live in Europe, but now have relocated to the USA. I am now located in California, but playing on the Vabbi (EU) server. During my daytime (i.e. evening in Europe) there are quite a few people, just did a lost bandit chest train w 50+ people, was so impressed! But in the evening at my time zone it's late night/early morning in Europe, so there no parties at all. I was wondering if anyone could suggest PvE server in NA I could join (I know it costs gems) to play with people on my time zone? Mostly interested in PvE, maybe some WvW at some point. Thanks a lot!
