  1. Hey team, I picked up GW1 again and have been discussing a few things with other returning players. We would be happy to throw some money at the following upgrades to the Xunali Storage / Vault box: 1. Stash tab for all collectables 2. Stash tab for stacking all mini pets 3. Stash tab for stacking max weapon & armor upgrades Thanks for considering.
  2. Hey team Firstly, I couldn’t find a relevant GW1 thread so feel free to move this to the relevant section. Would it be possible to add to GW1 the following minor dev/design changes that create huge quality of life improvements: - flags to direct heroes 4,5,6,7 - make flags also work for henchmen (eg in Heroes Ascent henchmen are decent but because they can’t be flagged separately they’re always together and the Panic mesmer bots can shut them down 100%) Separately from that, not sure if you’ve considered an automated seasonal balancing mix-up. I believe the following could be a low investment high impact approach: -add a “counter” for each skill to count how often they get used (separate for PvE and PvP probably, to balance it separately) -after every 3 months: —the top X most used skills get their parameters nerfed (eg less damage, more energy, longer recharge), at least 3 skills per profession in both pve & pvp but you can probably easily automatically calculate the number of outliers and rebalance all of those —the least used skills get their parameters buffed, at least 3 per profession in both pve & pvp —the rest is unchanged (or perhaps buff/nerf portions of them, but I would estimate that’s too much change every 3 months) -reset counters so that you have a fresh balance for the next season -optional (more work) - have a start & end of season event in major outposts (LA, Shing Jea, Kamadan) Adding this has a few interesting benefits: -bots are particularly attacked because they use the same skills 24/7, so the nerfs will practically always nerf bots’ skillbars -new theorycrafting every season -you can market this as a big update, leading to new sales. Thanks in advance for your consideration.. Kind regards, Balrogslayer
  3. Apologies that this doesn’t fit in the bugs section, but I couldn’t find a general feedback/ideas section. The support team suggested I posted my feedback/question on the forum though, so I put it in the best place I could find. When will you ship another product with primary+secondary classes? GW1 was just so amazing for build theory crafting, I miss the days 🥹 Sure, there’s still some people playing GW1 but I’m convinced there’s an appetite for something new in the market, and frankly speaking no other games have done anything close to it. Also this mechanic gets consistent praise, with the only downfall it’s difficult to find the right balance since there is always something (slightly) better than the rest. And yes, because of our near-instant access to all gathered insights from around the world a meta comes up faster than ever before, that’s just the way the gaming world works now. However, there are also better ways of monitoring and improving, with data analytics and AI more easily accessible than before, and shipping updates easier as well. So this brings an opportunity to allow for more rapid balance changes, keeping things close together while providing near unlimited variety. Lastly, if a new game isn’t in the cards, I believe it’s worthwhile to discuss a “GW: resurrected” like blizzard did with D2. Besides graphics (which I personally don’t care much for too much) could see merit in training an AI to play alliance battles so people can play them even if there’s not enough humans playing, as well as cross-platform options. The console world seems pretty stoked about this type of content, and none of them have the level of depth & breadth of GW1. Just my 2 cents
