  1. I see a fair few people bash kits now and then, asking for them to go away or be limited to certain specalisations, and I'm fully expecting this to be a bit of a hot take. I mean I wasn't much of a fan of the old backpacks back in 2012 but....that's about it. Do miss the old healing bombs mind you! I can appreciate the need for low intensity builds, people who want the comfy life, or have a disability, where a row of sigils, a mech and a rifle is about all you might want. But...that ain't me. When I started playing GW2 and saw the cooldown mechanic I was a bit "Meh, well that sucks" .Untill I found the Engineer and kits, and realised I could have a 35 skill rotation that didn't mean I needed to bother with cooldowns. In that rotation are a lot of mechanics, combo's, condition to boon generation, passive and active healing, tanking, boon generation, perma quickness, lots of defiance break, 1500 range, pulls in competitve play, whatever I feel like, in whatever game mode I feel like. 10 weapon skills, 5 utilities and cooldowns? No thanks. So, as an ode to kits, please leave them alone! Especially given the total atrocity that is the incoming shortbow.
  2. Personally I don't see the problem, as someone who has run a five kit build from launch. I do not want to be forced into running Gyros to give quickness. Full stop. I'll go back to Core if it gets changed back to Gyros. That people seem to have a problem granting quickness is weird as hell to me, I have 100% boon uptime on a Celestial set, run five kits and can do all the blast/leap finishers I need. If it's unpopular, er...so what? Just means the problem are the players not the Scrapper?
  3. Hey, there doesn't seem to be a crafting section on the forums so posting here for some feedback if possible please. As I understand this kind of transaction, of account bound items to others via the guild bank, happens already with Silverwaste shovels. What I'm really wanting to know is if this is considered an exploit, or against the ToS of GW2, or in anyway could land me in hot water if I do this? I've no idea if there even is any kind of market for this, I figure most large guilds already have players who take care of this and probably have healthy stockpiles. For me it's more about my desire to offer the service. I'm aiming to get every single Cooking recipe there is and see if I can advertise my services as a Chef who can cook you anything, and hopefully turn something of a profit, something cooking struggles to do as a crafting discipline. Thanks in advance for any and all help!
  4. Yeah, sorry, in my rush to dissapoint post I missed it. Not like I have any "feedback" anyway. 😐
  5. It just doesn't feel Engy. Where are the Macgyver/Rambo selection of wacky tipped arrow heads to pick from, we're supposed to be Engineers, a tool for every job. Not....magic gunk cannisters. Mechincally it's totally clunky to use and is not at all viable with the pace of the game. I want to hit things, friends and foes, directly, quickly, with that aforementiond selection of tools. Tested it. Won't be using it. Got my five kit build, more than enough skills, tools, to go around already.
