  1. I wholeheartedly agree! I think the bug was actually a better way to play Druid because the squad/party tends to move around a lot and it's hard to keep everyone within the radius even with a 20-second recast. Personally, I find spirits to be an annoyance rather than a fun and interesting mechanic because all they do is pulse boons to allies within their radius. When the unintended change was made back in June, I found Druid much more enjoyable to play and less stressful to manage my spirits.
  2. I really like this idea, a pet with stability application would work pretty well too since we're able to bring 2 pets to a fight and swap between them. Great suggestion!
  3. Hi, I've been a Druid player since the elite specialization's release back in Heart of Thorns. It's been a journey, but Druid has arrived at an issue of power-creep from other supports (mainly Firebrand). The issue is regarding boon distribution and ease of application. The boons in question are aegis and stability. With the changes coming to Glyph of Equality, this opens the door for Druids to apply stability to their allies within a 360 radius (30 sec CD) while in Celestial Avatar form. That's a lot of conditional requirements to apply a single stack of stability, meanwhile, Firebrands can go into Tome 3 and spam skill 1 for plenty of stacks at no cost (no utility slot needed, but feel free to bring "Stand Your Ground!"). Ease of application concerns the fact that Druid will now need to bring Glyph of Equality, which takes up a valuable utility slot. Currently, I need to bring 3 spirits to apply enough alacrity for my next spirit recast even at 100% boon duration. This means I can't bring anything else for the fight without losing alacrity uptime on my party. Using Spirit of Nature elite skill to apply alacrity would be a poor use of the skill since it also revives allies when cast at the proper time (by the way, Spirit of Nature no longer gives stability on recast). My suggestion: Forget Glyph of Equality, and instead make Celestial Avatar skill 5 [Natural Convergence] pulse 3 times during its cast and on the first and last pulse, it gives 1 stack of stability to allies (total 2 stacks). The cooldown on this ability is negotiable, since 2 stacks of stability every 10 seconds would be too strong. I'd alter the cooldown to 20-25 seconds to make up for the additions. Not only does this allow Druids to bring another utility skill, but it also makes gameplay more interesting and dynamic while still keeping the conditional nature of stability application, in Druid's case at least. Why do this over taking Glyph of Equality? The conditional requirement for applying stability on a Druid (post-Aug 23rd update) means Druids will have to be in Celestial Avatar mode and then cast Glyph of Equality. Freeing up a utility slot for Druids allows them to bring other skills that fights may require ("Protect Me!") or Glyph of Tides for knockback/pull CC. This also makes Druids consider using the [Natural Convergence] skill while in CA mode since most of the time the ability never gets used due to its lackluster effects and long cast time (it's a better use of celestial avatar state to heal allies). QoL change: With that being said, I want to address an annoyance that I have encountered with Druid especially on fights where I get teleported such as Deimos and Kaineng Overlook. These elevation changes (my speculation) cause the spirits to die instantly when I get ported down/up in the Deimos fight. The same thing occurs inside Kaineng Overlook when Minister Li uses dragonslash to send the squad to the other rooftop, my spirits die instantly and I need to wait 20 seconds to cast, then recast, the spirits to apply alacrity. I assume this isn't an intended function because it makes playing a Druid as an alacrity provider very annoying.
