hi All, I would like to give Rev another chance. I have tried twice, but very each time struggling with survivability and dmg. My question is not about builds themselves, but rather about specializations. Which one should be first to progress?

Best - Norn - big kitten with big sword. Worst - Asura - small creature running with toothpick :P

On warrior I am missing mobility connected to the strongest weapon set - with axe/axe you do not have any gap closer. You need to swap to e.g. GS, which I do not find to be powerful weapon.

do you still play it or have you moved to other class?

so I will have another question here (hope you are still with me): what you think about Revenant comparing with Warrior and Guardian?

already trying :) I am finding Guardian "more smooth" in play than Warrior (I am trying both in the same time, just to have comparison)

yep, same for me - I am trying now Guardian, but something still pulling me towards warrior :)

I do not want to start new topic basically about the same, but would you be able, in some way, to convince me to play either warrior or guardian? I can't decide. What i am aiming is OW/story (maybe once I get better with class other modes of PvE). What I am looking for is decent DPS with ability to survive most of the content without dying.

Hello All, I haven't seen such post reviewing recent topics (if one exists, apologize), so I would like to ask you one question:, which profession you fell in love with and you will play it no matter what. Which one has that special place in your heart?

maybe a bit of monologue xD (might be wrong, but those feelings I personally have) - necro - as mentioned above - did not fall in love - warrior - I played that class during first years of GW2 and whole GW1, but now can't convince myself to come back to it (maybe because I have read too many negative comments about it on this forum) - guardian - my understanding is there will be always expectation to provide support/a bit to close to paladin - revenant - i have played a bit (almost 50 lvl), but I did not see the spark and reading comments on this forum, my understating it is the elite specs are more support'ish? is there something wrong with me I can't find satisfying class for myself? o.O

Still torn between those two specs, but I think I will give a shot with both going to lvl 40 and see how I feel with each of them. Then close my eyes and don’t look back 😉 What stops me currently from selecting warrior is the place he is right now (based on the comments). I do not want to be banner slave and still want to find place in group if I decide to.

when I was almost decided to go with Warrior, a lot of good comments for Guardian appeared , especially comment from @Endaris.1452 forces me to rethink everything. (to be precise, I played the GW2 at start with Warrior, reached 80 lvl and bought HoT and then deleted it looking for something new and new start, which just now, so i would like to return to GW2. I have tried Necro - casters are not my story, reached lvl 40 with Rev, but something was missing)

Even when I reach decision that I want to try other parts of the game, I do not aim to be top DPS (that would be fine, but I think it requires a lot of time to spend which I do not have), but would like to have spot in those without begging.

yep, I have checked some of them... and now I have limited my doubts to Warrior and Guardian.. I always liked to play warrior, every single game (even GW1 I completed with Warrior). I tried different classes/professions but in the end in was landing with Warrior. Guardian looks interesting, but it is a bit too close to paladins, which I do not like... don't know why...

Ok, maybe it does not have to be versatile 😉 because I would like to focus mainly on DPS rather than support. I was thinking to give a shot with Guardian but I find it mainly as support class., however I might be wrong.
