  1. *Idk if this topic was made recently, allthough a quick scroll through forums with "skill cd" didn't bring it up.

Would be nice if we could ping our skill cooldowns, in addition to pinging what our skill do.
If anyone whos played League of Legends, its exactly like that.

Of course, different classes may run into different problems with this...
But its just an idea for a QoL.

I think Kryptic essence is always an over rewarded currency. I can’t see how more sources is going to produce more enthusiasm to abandoned content. Dungeons were scrapped in favour of other types of instances and they exist mostly as archived, legacy content. Any incentives come from the legendary gifts or unique skins. If they aren’t enough, essences certainly won’t be.

DRMs don’t really need revitalising either. Unpopularity aside, they are fully completable as solo content. Challenge modes are more difficult, but as optional content and with guilds prob able to organise groups easily enough, I don’t see it necs to incentivise them

Even DRM CMs are meant to be solod, unless everyone going in is a sweaty gamer.
The average casual going in, just makes the boss HP/Defiance/Atk go up, making it harder to burst/CC/tank these bosses
With the exception of Snowden bug where Ryland gets boons from EMP, there is absolutely no reason to do DRMs with the vast majority of peeps.

Ok now i am confused. This means there is no dmg difference anymore depending on weapons used for shroud?

In a nutshell, YES that is what it means.

If you've not finished some Weapon Master achieves like 5k kills on X wep.
You will notice every Reaper Shroud kill is counted as a HAMMER kill.
Basically your wep code got changed to Hammer when you enter Shroud, so what you equip doesn't matter anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's designed to be ranged/condi which is clearly firebrand style.

Firebrand was designed with Axe, and literally has a trait that enchances Axe skills.
Why are you so kitten anyway?
Over somebody else giving their opinion, as if yours was the only correct one?
Getting mad from the "dislikes" dropped on your post, and just lashing out at any random passing person who disagrees with you?

The key was to keep your stuff. They errored on the karma train here, not the fight else they would have made the rings bigger. I like how they say they are trying to balance the fight, but they aren't they want people to just run around the maps and avoid each other.

Except the zergs were conveniently standing over 9000 units away afking for 2+ mins as they "gather up" (exactly this "avoid the other zerg" mindset), while poor shmucks have to keep diving back into the ring knowing 100% they will probably die for nothing.
And then the tag and slowpoke zerg start moving AFTER the ring is 2 ticks away from flipping, resulting in them getting trapped in the flipped objective and becoming bags too.

Fighting aside, sometimes its easier to give up on X and fortify Y, if an enemy has a choke, instead of mindlessly trying to BAG into the ring.

The boon balls were taking too long to cap while chasing down suicide solos trying to stop the ring progress, enjoy your smaller rings.

    🤷‍♂️

At least it will stop idiot tags from saying "contest ring", as it's MUCH harder and a more obvious death sentence now.
It used to be that people blindly did that and just fed more bags while doing nothing.

Whenever I see threads like this it always makes me wonder why other ppls need customer service so much. Twenty-six thousand hours in and I can recall trying them once, way back at the very beginning, then realizing I didn't need them I was just a moron and clearing the ticket before they even replied. So on the one hand wtf but on the other like, seriously, what do y'all use them for so much . . ?

Becuz they are genuinely helpful, and even do things for people who are new and made stupid mistakes.

I yeeted/salvaged my Fractal Capacitor thinking I didnt need it further for Ad Infi.
After asking for help they just restored it anyway, even tho it was 100% my fault for not doing research.
Being new to the game without experience/gear to farm CMs made it very long to re-acquire 1350 Relics, which they basically made a non-issue for me when I was first starting out, and that help made the process MUCH easier.
Again, they didn't have to do anything, its 100% my fault, but they helped anyway.

The CS department is just goated.
And theres nothing wrong with showing some public appreciation.

Dude, this is not "base content", it's the final boss battle.

It is base content, becuz the thing I spent time grinding were the achieves, which is essentially CM.
The stuff you listed in your original post just really showed how little idea you have of how to do it even with supposedly hours of gameplay, like perhaps Quickness boon making the fire channeling faster, ranged wep to 1shot the shadows trying to dowse your fires while you stood in the fire, and that Blue circle thing Braham shouts and throws at you actually gives you Stability?
You were the one having problems, yet have the balls to come back months later to ego everyone.
If you spent less time blaming everyone but yourself for failing, maybe you would have succeeded without any help long ago.

Tested some more and it looks like it's doing a smaller amount of instant breakbar damage plus the soft CC from chill. It's definitely not doing 500 breakbar damage. I suspect it's doing 200 breakbar damage from the 2 second stun portion of the tooltip.

A training golem with 20 second breakbar = 2,000 defiance. You can test this with something that does no soft CC and an even number of CC per the tooltip, like 400 which will break it in exactly 5 uses, for example.

Using only Chilled to the Bone, it takes 5 full uses, which includes the soft CC from the chilled debuff of 21 seconds from those 5 uses. Unfortunately, the "condition immunity" you can put on the training golem doesn't block chilled debuff passive CC so I can't get an exact number.

Bottom line, it's doing some instant breakbar dmg, but definitely not 500. Looks more like 200.

If you didn't cast Cttb within 240 range you only get 2 seconds of Stuns=200 Break Bar.
It needs to be melee for the full 5 seconds.

As always, going to wait to pass judgement. It's not uncommon to get an 'upgrade' and wonder 'WTF ... this is worse'.

Yup, 100% agree, best to wait and see first.

Silent surf takes only slightly longer than sunqua peak. A good group can clear it in 5min and it could be faster without that pointless rp in the beginning. it is the easiest cm that can still bug out and wipe you. an hp nerf would increase the bug frequency.

They nerfed the normal mode hp hard and it just dies. Barely any groups skip it on eu server. Is this a classic na problem?

They only nerfed CM HP, which they shouldn't have, not NM.

Is this reading issue a classic "EU player has too much ego" problem?

  12. Honestly ye, Grapple feels like a misplay issue, it rarely happens.
People like to complain about the NM JP being wonky, but its very easy for a person new to the Fractal to never use skill 3, and I still see ppl fail at
    1. Getting off the zipline early for better control.
    2. Actually use the Parachute like a Glider for Horizontal movement.
Also, if a pug healer gets Tether on 66% NM, thats the dps players being dumb, relying on ppl they cant trust to do dps on healer gear, instead of just body blocking the Tether like on Sunqua.

That being said...the adds do behave wonky, and the only reason we ignore them right now, is because the improper design allows us to.
If the devs changed how failing cc punishes the fight, the bugs that do exist wud be a lot more problematic, and they mostly Aspects/Adds related.

just made it and killed cm co

    easy content btw

but getting a group work is not easy

and asking kp makes it very hard to grow a group of ppl willing to do harder content.

i hope anet can find a solution since the experts try to gate keep much as possible for their fail runs.

i get it many gw player are very bad very very but we need some way for ppl join groups withhout kp gate keeps.

perhaps a bonus for ppl to lead non kp ppl on their first try or finally implement a dps meter bcs as jt stands now there is a split between the good and bad player abd the one with low confidence.

    im open for ideas

CO CM doesn't even HAVE KP on its own...

Do you know how regularly CO CM runs have at least 1 person who dies on 1st Green Arrow, becuz they've never even done/learned NM?
People STILL think the SF Team Change is saved by downing the person, instead of just hard-ccing them.
Boon role peeps who clearly don't know they are supposed to go pickup SAK, just coming in and lying about how they've done CM before, because all the tryhards keep downplaying how bad CO CM (your quote: "easy content btw") is in pugs, so the average peep thinks NM=CM.

How about some really cursed people,
Like 2k Toughness Death Magic Reaper?
Or some 40k+ AP guys who keeps talking about their throbbing ginormous benchmark, bragging about HTCM title, threatens the squad with "if healers dont pickup SAK Im leaving", then proceed to die REPEATEDLY on 1st Arrow on different pulls, because their nose is too far up their kitten and they just greed dps without thinking?

I would like to know why other people shudn't ask for KPs?
The method of "go in and replace trolls/noobs until good enough" is going to quickly erode any patience members of the group have, and dps meters wont fix it, because you still have to pull to measure that, when the goal of KP is literally to prevent the need of "yolo first adjust later".

  14. This is great news.
Even though I made the full 7, the fact that even 1x Leggy Rune can get people the Leggy Relic is great.

The future unlock thing doesn't really bother me, just looks like the sPvP Amulet system now, you unlock it, you get to use it forever, same slot, all thats needed is a little extra work.
Also...Reward Tracks can bypass PvE Achievements.

Is the pizza attack generally aegis'd in high kp/static groups?

Yes it is, even on CM when you absolutely want to save Group Aegis for Mind Crush.
Thats why HB is sought after on Deimos, its probably the easiest "Aegis on demand" build out there, while Chrono takes a lot more skill, so the meta just bleeds the requirement from CM to NM and play them the same way, hence why OP may have ran into issues of groups wanting HB instead of anything else, even tho in NM it shudnt really be as big of an issue.
But ye, NM, Group Aegis shudnt be an issue unless the group is running an oil kite, which typically shud be HKs job while peeps down there fighting Saul anyway.
