  1. I play scrapper as a main for PvE, WvW and raids. I am trying to understand why the nerf hammer is being brought down on the scrapper class so hard. Its mediocre damage class with quick as a boon. The heal variant getting nerfed is also confusing since cleanse and heal are dominated by weaver now.... Hammer 3 is not a great skill to begin with, so putting some dependencies on using it in various game modes is.....not great. Maybe you can provide some context for why these changes are being made? I dont see scrapper "over preforming" since it has gotten nerfs for all of the last "rebalances" and it just seems like an attempt to kill the class.
  2. WvW rewards question Repairing walls and gates will no longer award event participation. This alleviates the behavior we've seen in farming Objective Scaling Rewards and "wasting" supply while defending. However, an additional side effect of this is that repairing alone will not progress achievements that require event participation, such as Keep Keeper, Nice View, or Stay Out. Is there a way to remove SMC from the rewards without changing towers and keeps? or at least giving the lowest level participation for repairs? I ask because support classes are unevenly impacted by this change where their priority is healing and boons so killing enemies is harder and finishing dailies and weekly reward tracks much harder. Defender being a good example as hitting an enemy or breaking siege may not gain you any advancement. Even killing invaders doesn't guaranty advancement with DPS players. I totally understand putting a stop to the skirmish ticket and rewards farming but isnt there a better way or a way to fix the daily\weekly advancement criteria? The system before the new rewards at least let support players gain credit towards achievements.
