This is some great tip, thanks! Something i haven't done years playing this game and it does help with cooling.

IIRC Anet said they'd completely move on to Dx11 at some time in future and in the recent patch Dx9 is renamed to "Deprecated"

In their blog post Anet said they have no plans to add Fullscreen mode for Dx11, so game will always be in Windowed Fullscreen, right now there is an option for Fullscreen but it doesn't actually work while Dx11 enabled, it uses Windowed Fullscreen mode. As a laptop user, cooling is always an issue for me while gaming, Fullscreen mode helps with cooling while alt-tabbing and away from the keyboard which happens quite often while doing Meta Events. This looks backwards to me that Anet takes that option away from the game. So, please reconsider adding Fullscreen option to Dx11! or let us keep Dx9 option, although i'd prefer to use Dx11 for performance increases.

It often lags when selling an item and often doesnt. Also gives an error when selling with no apparent reason, failing the selling of the item.

Same, i think it started since the end of Festival of Four Winds, but it got worse lately. Constant dcs back to back, even happens at odd hours like 5-6 AM in the morning. I am on EU servers btw and only have problems with GW2.
