That would be great! All I'm missing in the weapon department is a celestial pistol. This was great advice, I have enough Badges to get a few pieces. I got one, just gotta get myself some gold for the rest. As for the other posts, that's a lot of information that I'll keep referring back to, so thanks a bunch for the replies! I'm gonna work on some story stuff and I'm sure I'll earn enough gold to fill out my gear soon enough. Not sure about the runes but I'll cross that bridge later.

Ascended is the goal, but I want off my Berserker gear asap so I can play my build the way I intend. I have 17 laurels lol. Hello! I only have 2.5g and not much unlocked. Returning player who had his last set crafted by a friend at the time, but I'm looking to switch from Berserker gear to Celestial. Is there an easier way to get a set of exotic jewelry than WvW? I'm not nearly comfortable enough with my character's skills to jump into PvP. Planning to get bladed armor boxes from HoT but cannot do the same for jewelry (I only have a chunk of the base game, and most of HoT explored). Or if anyone is willing to craft me some, I can pay, but I can't pay much lol.

Thinking of going back to Necro for a bit, just picked up the game after a long time away, and didn't play too much then anyways. In the past I played a condition-based Necro, and I personally really enjoy the Shroud mechanic. Minions aren't really my thing. I'm also looking for something that's good in PvE as well as WvW. With that information, what kind of build would you suggest? Please be as detailed as you're willing to be and explain suggestions, and thanks in advance!

Do these still hold true if I tell you I'll likely be in a party of 2, maybe 3, almost exclusively? Also I do believe Moa Stance helps with damage given that I get 6s of Fury. I come from somewhat of a PvP background, so extra movement speed is a hard habit to kick, especially as character that would rather not get into melee range. An extra 5% went miles in those game, so 25% at all times seems good to me. The signet of the Hunt passive is the main reason I would use it, but if it's really not that impactful for kiting and such, I'll drop it. Also, would you suggest a different stun break over QZ? I was kind of just planning to use it on cooldown when exploring lol. I'm not sure what the conflict is with QZ here, other than I likely won't be close enough to give the buff to allies? That's just a bonus, I'm really in it for the Fury uptime and to proc Remorseless so I get Opening Strike often. This build seems to imply that, if this is the meta, my focus on Fury uptime and Opening Strike must be much less impactful than a more well-rounded setup with less focus on specific procs. Am I correct in that assumption? I also just want to use the Longbow, lol.

I couldn't tell what info was outdated, so I made my own build. Soulbeast is the only Elite Specialization I have leveled currently. I intend to play mostly PvE, and dabble in WvWvW. I've played MMOs hardcore in the past and am approaching this more casually, so I would prefer to not have to switch builds between modes (a tall order I'm sure, but adapting to new skills is too much thinky thinky for how I intend to play, at least for now. I'll get over that if I stick with the game longer this time). Build traits and skills here: https://ibb.co/K6svZ0r Current Attributes here: https://ibb.co/RvVWhxB Gear: If I remember right, I used to have a pretty cut and paste meta build, having followed a friend's advice, and my gear makes me a glass cannon; Nika's Coat, rest is Berserker's Bladed, 6/6 Superior Rune of the Eagle. Accessories are Celestial Backpack Strap of the Sky w/Exquisite Charged Quartz, Jewelry is all Ruby Orichalcum. Weapons: I intend to use a Longbow and a Dagger/Warhorn combo (replacing my current Greatsword). My Longbow currently has Superior Sigil of Force + Superior Sigil of Air. Dagger/Warhorn are new, no sigils. All 3 are Power/Precision/Ferocity with values of 239/171/171 and 120/85/85 respectively. I also intend to be on my Longbow a majority of the time. Current pets are Tiger and Smokescale. Tiger is non-negotiable (my favorite animal), but I intend to replace Smokescale with Juvenile Cave Spider. I like that the spider can immobilize targets independently, as well as give me that ability while in Beastmode. If there are any build details I missed, let me know. My preferences: I like to go zoom and pew pew. I'll likely alternate having pets out and being in Beastmode, even though the sentiment online seems to be "Beastmode at all times". Concerns: I don't know what any values mean what necessarily, but being so incredibly specialized in DPS seems like I'm making enormous sacrifices to the rest of my stats. If that's viable in this game, cool, I'll roll with it and save my 2.69 (nice) gold for now. If not, please let me know. I'm open to changing gear and runes and whatnot, but I am quite poor. I believe there to be a good amount of synergy in this build, at least on paper. The major focuses are on Fury uptime and Opening Strike refresh, with Bleed, Speed, and Cripple as secondary focuses.
