  1. Same happening everywhere for me (except in Mystlock Sanctuary, but maybe that is just luck), can't even craft for 5 minutes in Divinity's Reach (so far happening in Lions Arch, DR and when loading into Armistice Bastion, which just gives a gray screen and then "lost connection with server" pop up shows up).
  2. Same, except I bought the shoes and the gloves are showing as "Sold out". It looks like it's either bugged or for whatever reason there is a limit to buying only one item (which is pretty awful design because.. what is the point of a set then?.. I am hoping it's just a bug.) Edit: looks like it's a known bug, it's posted in "known issues" now: If a player purchases either the Sanctified Gloves or the Sanctified Boots from the Wizard's Vault, both items are marked "Sold Out".
  3. Yeah, you need to talk to Courtier Xikka, next to the jumping puzzle (the clock tower) portal in Lions Arch. But first you need to complete the required jumping puzzle achievement (or just open the first chest enough times to earn progress, according to another player's post).. so even if you can't finish the clock tower, there is hope 🙂 Short guide is up on reddit:
  4. Harrower is a new mini boss inside the labby. So just do regular labby farming, there are two new "doors" with mini bosses (one is at the north east part of labby, another at the lower end on the left (south west) side of the map). After you "kill" the Harrower you can talk to that npc (she'll have a pumpkin icon over her head) and get her "testimony". Hope that helps. 🙂 I also found that the Huntsman NPC (who is inside the race track map) won't talk to you until you clear one of the race achievements (at least that's how it worked for me, he didn't want to talk to me until I got tier 1 of Lunatic Racer annual achievement).
  5. It's great when nothing goes wrong. But when it does, since it involves money coming out of someone's pocket, it's natural for people to worry if they don't get what they paid for since you think you just lost all that money (I know that 80 $ or euros may be a small sum for one person but it can be quite a lot for someone else, since people from all over the world play GW2). Other than that, I'm not here to argue with anyone and I think you just misunderstand me. I wasn't bashing (?) them and I had no intention of sounding nasty (?? I'm honestly confused here but since English is not my first language must be a case of that word being used differently in my language..). I was just expressing disappointment, thinking it seemed preventable, is all. A rise in demand is to be expected after each expansion announcement, surely. A quick post saying "there will be delays due to high demand" or something to that effect would've worked wonders to put everyone at ease. But this is going off-topic, anyway.. At any rate, there is a delay of at least a few hours, it seems, from the time of purchase to when you actually receive your serial code. I received mine after more than 3 hours total. If there are people reading this that don't get their codes (they should be in a second e-mail you receive, not the confirmation one, probably) after a few days, best open a support ticket (which is what most did already).
  6. Update: finally got the serial code in another e-mail about 3 hours later.
  7. Good for you, and I'm happy it went smoothly, but a lot of us didn't have such a smooth experience. Payment went fine in my case, I payed via Paypal, but there was no code on purchase page or in the e-mail sent by ArenaNet. So maybe not dismiss people just because they didn't have the same experience. We all payed for the pre-order, same as you did, but a lot of us didn't get a serial code.
  8. Ty for update! So maybe there is hope.. so far I only got the html one (and it has no code ofc). I submitted a ticket a few minutes ago just in case.
  9. It's probably overloaded but I don't think it will make a difference. I just received my confirmation e-mail and it still only contained blank space and no code anywhere in sight.. .. sigh
  10. No such luck for me, no confirmation e-mail anywhere. Btw, did the e-mail contain the code or was it still just blank?
  11. Same, bought the Ultimate Edition, Paypal went through, no code (space on webpage is blank) and didn't receive an e-mail with the code either.
  12. I managed to preorder it and payment went through Paypal successully. Be warned though, it still managed to get messed up somehow since all I got on completion was a webpage that says: "We have received confirmation of your payment from PayPal. Thank you for your purchase. Payment is handled on behalf of Guild Wars 2 by Digital River, Inc. Your serial code(s) are listed below and have also been sent to the email address you provided." AND THERE IS NO SERIAL CODE anywhere to be found. There goes 80 euro.. Anet, fix your online purchases, jesus.. we want to support you but this is just unprofessional.
