Honestly I'm not surprised, Anet has been pushing lazy cash-grabs for at least the last two years (see: outfits instead of armour sets, lazily made hairstyles, recycled skins etc.) but it's just plain stupid that they would make a move like that now with all the controversy going on about lootboxes. Not to mention that most skins are just recolors, no real changes to the model whatsoever, though again not surprising, you could see skins coming a mile away since they only gave us one channel dye for our mounts. Even with all the backlash this seems to be getting however, there are people already buying them, so I don't have high hopes on it changing....
