This is pretty much where I'm am. I am sitting on the fence with templates. I don't believe this should have been monetized unless they actually put them in an expansion with expansion quality content. They told us the next LS would directly follow the previous one. Then they delayed and hyped "Saga" but under-delivered. If they don't provide the promised expansion quality content, I will not buy gems or convert gold to gems for anything else.

I think they could take a note from GW Hall of Monuments rewards that offered skins/titles for GW2. How many GW lore inspired armor/outfits items have we seen in the GW2 Gem Store? I think they would save the best items to resell in a premium shop, rather than just transfer our whole wardrobe.

Thank you for letting us know Templates are still being worked on. However, there are many other suggestions and complaints in this feedback thread. Would it be possible for someone to list the other things that are being worked on with templates if anything else at all?

A full wardrobe transfer is not a good idea. However, something like a GW2 Hall of Monuments unlocks a handful of skins and titles might be something to consider?

Yes with limitations. Like someone mentioned they should be restricted to instanced content and I think there should be a limit on the number of helpers 2-4.

Thank you for the update. However, I can not muster up the excitement. Templates ... Yes, Templates. Anet unsticked the feedback thread and has left it to die. The obvious triple monetization and now lack of progress to address the issues is extremely discouraging.

I am for OpenWorld legendary armor, however, I do not think we will ever see it. I like to play WvW sometimes, so I am slowly working my way there. Besides the rate of shiny Gem Shop items with more dye channels and better effects, the only positive thing left about leggi armor is utility and now Anet's templates are hurting that.

I'm sure it will short term shake things up and then creep back to the same old play styles. Much of GW2 has gone full circle many times.

I am a bit torn on this one. I main an Asura Reaper and have mostly Asuran toons. There are certain helms and outfits I like and think look good with my ears hidden. However, there are others that I like to see all my characters' corky features. For example, I like the Necromancer Reaper hood removing the ears, I do not like the Primeval Dervish outfit hood that is made to show Asuran ears, but I do like the Sunspear outfit helm, or Luminous armor helms showing ears, etc...
