I suppose the question is would players like 3d models of their toons or not

a file for each toon that reaches 10 years, I am sure there are print shops that have 3d printers who could charge maybe £5 to print out a 4 inch model

players who do not want to wait 10 years but would like a 3d print file for their fave toon could buy it for gems maybe

Lots of people have 3D printers now or have access to one. I think if you have had a toon for 10 years you must be happy with it so I think anet should furnish the player with a file which has a 3D encoded copy of your 10 year old toon so that you can print a 3D hard copy on a printer and paint the model to match your toon
