Hi, i am an old player that used to play chrono. I quit mainly cause my raid group collapsed but also because anet decided to this to chrono in their coding: Chrono = Chrono - fun ; basically removing every single aspect that was considerable fun, makin a mess of his signature move (the continuum split) and yet, after all this nerfs and reworks (which some of them made sense since old old chrono was broken) they did not rework the most trash mech of chrono: wells. Basically a guaranteed quit if you don't have other classes you really enjoy playing (and tbh after playing the old chrono no class can come to that level of fun, pve wise). I would be fine with chrono being close to useless but at least fun to play. I am making this thread to ask: Is chrono still clunky, unfun and a wellbot ? I am considering returning to the game. I am asking pve side since i rarely played pvp

Mesmer was op? Yeah it was, let's be honest However as always anet balances by overbuffing or killing a spec. We will probably have to wait around 4-5 months before chrono gets back to a playable level.Nerf to SoI ? Fine, ok but it's stupid since this game has such a trash UI and you can't keep tracks of boon on your squad members. So a totally random nerfNerf to CC ? Yeah ok that's fine, it was really strong (even tides of time)Nerf to bountiful disillusionment? ANET ARE YOU STUPID ? After random change to SoI and CC nerf even bountiful disillusionment ? Now basically i have to ask to my whole group and squad "sorry do you have this, this and this boon on ?, Can i use SoI ?" Seriously Anet this is a nerf to playability and to the fun aspect of the spec. Before doing such random nerfs at least be sure that at least you have a decent UI. Now the difficulty to play mesmer is to impossible levels due to the trash UI that we have in raids. Basically nerf CC ok, but take away or the SoI nerf or bountifull disillusionment nerf. Right now chrono is a trash alac quickness bot that has to wait for his tiny little wells with delay to go off to give 2 boons. Like really ?

The only things i see in these pics are:1- You are playing an ultragutted spec that as of right now is underperforming. Also it is one of the most braindead specs (could play it and i don't even play mesmer as my main class) with a shitload of defensives and you are even running some underwhelming utility. 2- You facetanked 3 full three round burst (when you have a shitload of defensive: Shield 4 with echo, distortion, sword 2, dodge, decoy), then proceeded to facetank death's judgement with full malice charged and got killed which is totally fine because that's what it's supposed to happen in pvp when you facetank a full burst spec without even trying to mitigate his damage. What i can say is that you are clearly new to the game and to your class, also the burst is executed in around 3 seconds (he has also to enter stealth to get off DJ) which give you plenty of time to react even assuming that you have bad reflexes. I mean if we should follow your proofs for nerfs then anet should probably nerf every class that it is able to deal high damage, so let's nerf warrior, holosmith, ranger....oh wait every class in the game Just the fact that you claim that the burst was executed in 2 seconds (which is quite a large margin honestly, you probably never met a burst mesmer huh?) means that you don't know the deadeye spec and how it works. Now ask yourselves why people can't take these threads seriously.

I did as @Illconceived Was Na.9781 Suggested and it worked. I have to say that it's stupid that you have to use such stupid tricks for a collection. Just give the item on event completition and we would all be happy with it

I am actually sure i got enough credit as i landed various attacks with my thief that has quite the strong burst. If it requires even more damage then it's true BS. It's a meta event and it's normal that a lot of people gather there. Also i got Gold partecipation. One of the most annoying collection from the alpha beetle to the steam cretures and the anomaly.

It would bee to much of a smart move from anet. Also for some absurd reasons the ones tryharding in ranked would be pissed off because "omg casuls gettin rewards in unranked, this game is so casul fkn sh1t". Yeah so much better having them all in ranked, so then they can come complain on the forums instead because "omg nubs in ranked lose ma game, fkn matchmaking" What do we learn from this: "Hardcore" pvpers will NEVER be happy, so just ignore them

Actually no, if you check my games history i always try to win. But the fact that i am not abusing the system doesn't mean that it can't be abused. I don't play often enough to abuse it. Actually the decay system does it for me. (i usually play once in 2-3 weeks)

If in comp i receive more rewards then i will go in comp and i don't really care about my rank or the competitivity. I for sure try to win but i will never tryhard

They should put it the same way that it is in ranked. Otherwise who wants to just farm would go to ranked. I don't care of my rank and i just play for the lulz, to get salty messages and for the rewards. I would not play unranked if it gives less pips than ranked.Also for those who want to farm is actually better in ranked. You throw some games to get down in rank and then you snowball newbies ez pz. The system is just broken and exploitable
