    Think of it long term and as a way to skip visiting LW maps to farm the currency in there. It gives you the opportunity to do other stuff in game if you don't have much time to play the game each day. Ez hop into home instance, harvest some stuff in 5-10 mins, move onto whatever else you like to do e.g. Raids, Strikes, Fractals...

    Overally it looks like a weird idea to me and I don't like it.

    Also, look at the skills which deal dmg, figure out which of them deal the most dmg in the least amount of time, check cooldowns.
    Press them in order that lets you press them more or less in chain. Tadaaaaa, rotation.

    too many times have i had the experience of putting a group up looking for a healer, someone who wasn't a healer joining and refusing to switch character/build, then having to kick them and relist the group. in WoW, when a person tries to join your lfg, they only get added to the group if you accept their request, that way, if you're looking for a hunter and warrior tries to join you can simply not accept them or refuse their request, which spares you from wasting time kicking people and relisting the group.

    The problem here is that we don't have a simple healer, healer has an extra boon/mechanic role. FF14 uses a system where you have classes grouped by role, it doesn't work here either, as e.g. FB can fill 3 of our roles: support dps, dps and healer (with healer being a good pick for tank, but not always a tank).
    There's an easier solution rather than flipping lfg on its head, find a static. Pugging content, especially CMs is like playing russian roulette... with some groups you're safe... some groups just make your head explode regardless of their kp.

  4. Uhm, crazy idea, u know that Anet employees are humans too. They deserve a holiday break.
    We already know that next week, we're moving into Canthan New Year for couple of weeks. The next steps will get there when they get there.
    With the teaser pick we got before Xmas, I think we already got more than enough for release that might come in couple of months. I'm curious, yes, not impacient.

    The idea of having some of the past story bosses introduced as strikes is not bad. The list is where I have a bit of a problem.
    I wouldn't want to see recycled dragons:

    - Mordremoth already has a story mode cm which encourages playing as a group.
    - Kralk is bad encounter no matter which way we look... do we want some weird version of Dragonfall? No! Do we want to have a strike version of fight in Thunderhead peaks? GOD NO!

    Some bosses would make a fine strike encounter, but would need a major rework for that 10 person instanced format. I wouldn't mind Anet getting us 1 strike mission from HoT and PoF. Which of the fights would be iconic enough while also fitting the 10 player format tho?
    I am curious where will Anet go with strikes in the future releases. Now, we've a reduced number of currencies linked to strikes (with one being slightly more special than other). E.g. Would Anet be able to balance the currencies in a way that will not nuke the price of infusions? I know, the ones we get from traders are not tradeable, still... if I can put little effort into farming currency, cuz I can just buy one myself from the trader in arborstone instead of hoping for a rare drop/spending my gold trading with someone who was more lucky... it doesn't feel the same.

    I really like the game, but every single release you seem to miss very simple things.
    Since the achivement I've mentioned in title requires us to avoid getting hit by specific attacks during the Battle on the Breachmaker, could you please add that little yellow eligibility icon to our boon bar? It really isn't a great experience to play through that instance until the end, just to learn that apparently there was 1 or 2 hits from the AoE... that I simply didn't notice. The game already registers if I kept/lost the title during the fight, why not make it easier for the players?

    PS. Also a small thing that was broken for a while, we are missing a hitbox on one of the ships we're supposed to destroy with grenade in Aetherblade Path of Twilight Arbor. Could you please give it back?

    EDIT: Since it was moved let me mention the chiev: No More Tricks, Scarlet. But I think this is not the only one missing the indicator on the bar.

    You are right, all rats should be thrown into a pit and burried.
    I don't think we'll see a lot of Destiny's Edge in the future anyways.

    On the thread topic. Not sure why ppl struggle with the Shooting Gallery in VB. It took couple of tries, but the rng isn't that big of a problem. After some shots u also have multiple targets available.
    Something that helped me aim was zooming into first person.

  9. I'd be happy with "skip the cutscene" button for some of the story stuff and DS.
    I was replaying some instances for achivements, unskippable cutscene is infuriating when you're repeating sth 3-5 times in a row.

    We've had a lot of dialogue on the move before, then u don't really notice it much. That's the way to go, then u don't need to skip it and you don't need to wait in one spot waiting for sth to happen.
