  1. Optimal to who? There are builds in this game that have optimal performance dependent on the content. The question isn't for who, it's for what. They are optimal independent of who plays them. It's just really a mathematical solution to maximizing DPS output, that's all. OK ... no one said there was so don't make this into a point of argument that no one is going to have with you. The optimal builds are dependent on content but make no mistake, they exist and there are ALWAYS going be there because of how content is designed in this game. What I said is still true though: Difficulty will not change the fact that people want to do content in optimal ways using these builds and that means easy mode will still have these players. I truly give up You just do not see that the so called optimal builds are not optimal for everyone which in turns makes them not optimal at all. If it does 100K damage in 5 seconds but you die in 2 seconds that build is not optimal period. However is a build does 50K damage and you stay alive for 30 seconds you have just done a ton more DPS than the person that has the 100K in 5 seconds. So yes there can be builds that are made so you see the largest numbers on the screen all the time and if that works for you great. It does not mean it will work for everyone that way simply because not all players are clones and each player has a different play style and skill it really is that simple. This in turn makes not every so called META build the best build because the performance of the player can not match what the build is to be. So that in a nut shell can not be optimal.
  2. Optimal to who? you everyone or no one. If it is optimal to the player playing the char than it is by definition optimal. It does not have to be optimal to anyone but that player. As stated before each player has a level they can expect to achieve in skill and those are not all the same for everyone, this leads to players making builds that are optimal to them. Does this mean they are any worse or any better than any other build NO it does not it just means that build that everyone calls META does not work for that player, their play style or their skill level period. There is no best build out there at all there is best at and best for. The best at is a build made for the highest amount of X they can get the best for is the best build that is for the player. Now what one is more important well it is a combo of the two, a build that allows the player to play to a high degree while still providing go results in the x factor. The best example i can give is my Valk reaper. 1 I know I an bad at dodging I know this 2 I am a clicker it is what I do it is my play style 3 my DPS is just a little lower than a zerker reaper as a whole about 6% but my burst damage is higher because i stay in shroud longer and can get back into it quickly with the skills I run. The high HP allows me to take more hits than the zerker and allows for the healer to heal me before I am downed. Now if a reaper zerker does as a whole of 30K damage and I do 6% less that means I am doing 28200 DPS and if that is not enough than there is something very wrong with elitists, it is them just wanting you to run exactly what the META is and as I said the META is a joke because the 1800 damage difference between the 2 is nothing and if a zerker reaper gets downed while I am up guess who all of a sudden has a higher DPS it is not the zerker reaper now is it.

Everything I have stated and some of the other will make the game better, like I said before i have been with anet since the stress testing of GW1 and have seen some really poor updates and fixes and re fixes and good updates. You name it I have seen it over to two different games. These changes will do several things 1 get more players interested in raid 2 allow casual players to experience an area they were not once able to because of (name reason) may draw back players who left because of this and also encourage higher end players to try harder themselves to understand the mind set of a casual player. They may even discover that some builds all though not optimum will work and that they were wrong in not excepting casual players into their group. It could work the other way as well. So yes i believe these changes would help the game grow into a new era as it is now 7 years old and is getting older by the minute. They will have to do something or soon players will just stop playing all together.
  4. like i said before, with easy mode there's going to be an influx of players who will play it casually, drowning out the noise of anyone who wants to play optimally in easy mode.If you want control players elite players going into the easy mode and running wild all over the place that is easy to lower the rewards a little. just do the exact opposite of the CMs/ Hell you can just put the option in the raid like there is for CM. You can have easy mode normal and CM mode. Really it is not that hard of a concept or an idea. You clearly just want to have raid to yourself and like minded players who are looking to be the elite players. While other players are looking to experience the content and lore of the game. In GW1 I ran assassin and was the tank for many a speed run in the UW and yes it was fun but it was a guild that was trying to achieve our best time we did not care if we were the fastest in the world because we realized it gave us nothing at all. The same thing hold true here, hey if anet makes an event where you win some good loot for being the fastest run or completing the content closest to the 10min mark without failing this would be a good thing as as well. Than you have a leaderboard and statues and what not of the top speed teams and the closest to 10 min and where would be a great place to put that kind of thing well the Eye of the north there is all kinds of space there and it could be added with ease. So you have the easy mode where you do not qualify for the board at all than normal and CM both of which have 2 sets of challenges 1 finishing it the fastest and 2 finishing it the closest to the max time limit without failing. Now if that does not keep elite players out of the easy mode nothing will.

I know exactly what they both are thanks, your not getting the point is that the game can evolve to this and yes you can have a persistent map that is HARD mode where only HM players are going to, If they choose to play in hard mode when leaving like say LA if you pick HM than you are in HM. The city instance and home maps can all be normal if you want to do it that way. Or when you log in you pick HM and you are now in HM for everything but you make it not possible to take HM before you have completed the story lines.
  6. You have 15 seconds to do 10% of his HP, now is that his full HP or his current HP that he has at the time? Now if it is his full HP that means that you need to do 3.2million Damage in 15 seconds that comes to 213 333 HP per second for 15 seconds. 1 players doing 30K DPS will do 450K in 15 seconds that means that 3 players doing 30K per second will do 1,350,000 in those 15 seconds. with 6 remaining to take care of the other 1,850,000 that means that 123 333 damage is required per second that divided by 6 means that 20 555 per player is required for 15 second. If you do 1000 damage per second that get you to 15000 damage alone. There is no way that you can tell me that if you have a team that has 3 players doing 30K DPS and a team of not META players doing at least 2K damage DPS that you can not complete the content. It is all about elite status and a chest pumping mentality. WE ARE THE BEST WE DID THIS WE DID THAT. I have just proven with math that it at least DHUMM can be done with only 3 30K DPSers a tank and 6 what ever you want so long as they can do 2K per second players. Nice try but you see math is black and white there is no grey and in this case you are 100% no 10000000000000000000000000000% wrong in what you are saying and it is all about elite status. Would you like to try again. Why should they carry, well lets see they are not carrying they are working together, no matter how much damage you do you are still working together some deal more some deal less it is all still damage. If the content is completed it is completed you do not get anything for finishing it in 30 seconds you get the same damn loot. You may get a little more loot finishing it faster over and over again sure but if that is the case you are looking at elitists again and if you say no than you are blind to what working together means. Plus again you did not answer my community questions yet again.
  7. Did you play GW1 ? This is the first thing I will ask if you did do you remember hard mode ? If you do than do you remember how you got hard mode ? If not then let me remind you, you had to play through the whole story first. So each living world would have the normal level and when you are completed it ( this does not mean titles and what not) than and only than were you able to go and pick hard mode. The same thing can be done here, Once you have completed the whole story line the next time you log in you can pick normal or hard mode which would see an increase in enemy strength and a increase in drop rates. Now once you are done the story line if you do not want to go to hard mode you do not have to it is 100% up to you to choose it or not. There is no force for you to take it unless you want to that is how it would work and do not tell me that they can not do this because they do it in Fractals with the CMs so yes it can be done and yes it can be done across all maps.
  8. I get that he moves and does stuff this is just the math that shows that it could by the numbers be done. So if you have 3 players doing 30K DPS and we will say that you have about 7 min of damage time. That is taking away 3 min for the pre and all his soul stuff and what not so 3 players at 30K DPS over 7 min which is 420 seconds that comes to 12 600 000 per person for a grand total of 37 800 000 damage. So in real life math world which is what this game is based off because it is damage per second. three players doing 30K DPS can finish him off in under 7 min so do not hand me this crap that someone doing less damage say 5K or 10K DPS would be a hindrance. It is purely elitists wanting to make the runs as fast as possible to get more loot instead of just having fun and enjoying the game. This is 3 players 3 of them do you now see a problem with how raids are run with ppl wanting others to bend to what they want just so they can enjoy the content I have to do what you want me to do Hell no. Learn to work with others and what their limitations are and what they are able to bring to the table instead of saying NO you can run this build or this gear and you can not do this rotation than you are no use to us. This is toxic to the core, and it has a psychological effect on players when others are telling them this and causes them to leave. I know this from personal experience where I left the game for some time and I did not miss it at all, as I was playing a game that did not require you to be elite to achieve top end stuff it required you to work for it but you did not have to do things this way to get it. So yes Raid Elite toxicity is a very real thing and it needs to stop so that others can enjoy the content that is being produced. Either a lower grade raid or elite players need to learn to help others in their search. This is a community is it not, communities help each other do they not? If it is not a community than why is it a MMO and why is not like GW1 was where each player can decide to take others with them and play as they want? Everyone preaches community and MMO where players help you out but when you want the help the way you play they knock you down and spit in your face and say your not good enough. Which one is it Community or Not.
  9. Now please explain to me how I am being toxic by stating the truth. And how the 1k dps player is not toxic by demanding others carry them. Just because you dont like what I am saying, does not make it toxic. I think your selfish attitude that people who actually care enough to learn the minimum needed to beat the encounter should carry everyone else who cant even be bothered to do that is toxic.This is a simple one if you are doing ANY damage at all you are contributing, yes it may not be much but you are still contributing. Have you ever heard of death of a 1000 paper cuts?Now let us do some math shale we If you do 1000 points of damage per second there is 600 seconds in 10 min minus the 1 second because at 10 min it is a fail. So 1000 DPS in 10 min or 600 seconds is 600,000 damage. Now if you were to have that damage over 10 players that is 6 million damage. Now I just looked up Dhumm and he has 32million health, lets round that up to 36 for some simple math that makes is 6 times more health and damage being done. So if you are doing 1000 damage DPS that means that each player has to do 6100 DPS which is under your 10K dps that you said is required and this is just basic math. 6100 DPS is nothing. You can get that with 5 pieces of power gear.
  10. There is, you say you can fix yourself that is a big hard no. A player has a top end level of performance period they are only going to be as good as they are, you see casual players do not play the game like it is their jobs they play it for FUN and not having the chance to run raids and enjoy that area of the game is a shame. Why should I have to change to make you happy? I have a question a serious question, If a player was to run a valk reaper and not a zerker reaper would you take that player? Their over all DPS is about 6-7% less give or take but their burst shroud damage is greater because they stay in shroud for a longer period of time. This is where the reapers damage comes from in the first place we know this and since they stay in shroud longer are they not producing a better outcome? There are not a few people that think this way there are many who do not do raids because of this toxic elitist mind set and so they miss out on this content and is that fair to them? That answer is a NO it is not fair at all, because they want to do them they just are unable to because of x reason. I can remember when fractals first came out and everyone was running power power power, I ran condi because I like the tankiness of my build and the cascades of numbers, I was able to get onto a few teams that took me and I showed them how good condi could be and how good tanky can be. As there were several times I was the only one alive and was able to either res the team or able to produce enough damage through my build to kill the boss. That would not have happened had I been running a META build which is what they were all calling for before I convinced them. Just because something is a META build does not mean it is the perfect build, it means it is the perfect build for that person you can not say that the build you run for you is going to do the exact same thing for me. We play a different style and that in and of itself will not allow the same build and the same gear to get the same results from player to player. We are not sheep we have our own minds think outside the box and build your own builds and I feel you will find something that you enjoy that you created and works for you and will still get the job done. I say this in the hopes that you may open your eyes and realize there is no difference in completing a raid content in 1 second or in 9 min 59 .59 seconds. The fact that it was completed is the fact.

So, if you actually have some hard data that proves otherwise, i'd not only very much want to see it (because it would completely change some things we so far thought we knew about the game), but i'd also want to know how you gathered that data in order to reason why in your case the results are different than in all the other cases. Because, if you're right, then either you have considered some factor everyone ignored so far, or something changed in the game recently.I have no video of this which is of course would be best, than I would kill champ and mark down what the drop was. i used an e for the exotic bags a r for the rare bags and a m for the masterwork and f for fine. Than i would just put a mark in the right box. Now I will grant this although I did have an increase in exotic drops when I soloed it was not a hug jump over what it was with someone but over an extended period of time it would add up. There was a about a 6% difference between the two. This I will agree on.
  12. When I solo champs I have found I have a greater chance of getting a high tier drop than if someone jumps the champ while I am soloing it or if there are more than a solo kills. I do not know if this is from the damage done or from the number of players in the kill I just know what the results are when I solo in relation to when others are there. There is a 1000 reason to call people toxic for that. 1 All gear is DPS gear period there is no gear that does not have some form of DPS that is simply because of the base power being 1000 so even no gear is still DPS gear. Now you saying that someone is doing 1000% more damage is wrong wrong and more wrong. If someone does 10x less damage and the event is still completed does it really matter ? That answer is NO it just was not completed fast big deal it was finished and that is what counts. I do not care if raiders also play in the open world I could care less I do not ask or seek help for champs and can solo most champs in the game. There are a few that are special like they are in lava and what not that I can not do because of the area around them. The simple fact that if you require someone to run exactly the way you want and you kick them or not take them in the first place if they do not that is toxic. There is no grey area in this none what so ever. You are completely correct on this I though that was with the 300% already added in I looked again and see that it was not I apologize for that you can get up to those numbers with full boosters, and over the 1000% if you are in the areas like SW or if it is a Lunar New Year.
  13. Do ABC and get something is how most game work, except that it normally does not take a year or more to get that reward. So your point there is mute and not viable at all. Yes the game needs growth that is how you keep the old timers around by changing things for the better, adding things and making things better. I never said that drop rates were the only way to make the game grow I said it was a way to do it. A casual player who is not focusing all there playing time to working on a legendary can take more than over 3 years to make a single legendary. But you do not care about that because you are most likely sitting on a treasure trove of gold where you can go buy whatever the hell you want. Just because most players play the game for enjoyment or try to and not like it is a life style or their job you hold that against them and not allow them to get those achievments? That is heartless, and people who bring up issues are not snowflakes, I am anything but a snowflake I was not born in the 2000s thanks. I have seen 6 decades 2 different centuries and I am not even 50 yet. I have see two versions of this game, have gone through the good bad and ugly of both games. So yes I have first hand knowledge of what can and will help and as much as you may fight it because it would make all those legendaries you have feel void because they took you forever to do. Casual players deserve the ability and the possibility to get them as they are the main staple of the game as much as you may not like it they are

Both of those thing you mentioned the memories of home and Perseverance are both restricted. 1 memories is only during the lunar new year which is only once a year and Perseverance (IS ONLY IN THE SILVER WASTES ) once you leave the map you no longer have it. 2. that makes your max level of MF across the whole game 465% or 485% during a lunar new year. Who on earth wants to run SW over and over and over and ooovveeer again the answer is no one. There is no reason for MF to be that high in one area none what so ever. After doing 2 or 3 runs of SW you want to smash yourself in the face with a hammer. So you are correct a little but I am correct fully. Filling a reward track in WvW will take 8.5 hours without boosters and yes boosters may cut down the time by half or so but that still makes it 4.25 hours per run which is not horrible but still not what it could be. If it can get down to 2 hours than you are talking my language but I have never found a way for this to happen plus being jumped killed trying to go from camp to camp. Plus you have to hope that the camps you took over got taken so you can recap them. Which is where the whole thing about cap recapping comes in. But players defend them and hold them for no reason at all. Like i stated earlier there is no reward for being the top world none what so ever. If everyone that was in WvW at the time of the top world was announced got 100g that is a reason to play WvW.
  15. Neither of those are issues. If you aren't willing to do what is needed to get a legendary, you don't get one. So many of the things you claim are just wrong. there are too many to even address. No they are not wrong yes gift of battle you can not get from PVP, agreed but the fact that you think I would not be willing to do the work that is wrong wrong wrong, I just think the time line is to long on them, it needs to be shorter so that is does not take years to make one. But I guess that understanding is so high over your head that you can not grasp it and for that I feel sorry for you. The game needs growth in areas and drop rates and shorted accomplishments are all viable ways to do that. Accomplishments of finishing legendaries in a timely manner where you get to enjoy them instead of being maybe in the middle of doing one and have the game die or get replaced. That would be the biggest slap in the face after working for such a long time and then getting it take away form you because of X reason. Remember this game is 7 years old how much longer do you truly think it is going to continue before they are looking at a replacement for it. My guess is 3 years before there is a replacement.
  16. I except the game for what it is just fine I am saying I would like to see some growth in the areas of x y z, If that makes me the bad guy than fine I am the bad guy. There is no reason for a legendary item to take so long to get simply because of the mats it takes to get because there is no viable way to farm them. Mystic coins and clovers are two if the hardest mats to get that do not drop from enemies. Yes you can get them form reward tracks sure but as stated before without boosters this will take you 8.5 hours of constant play to finish a reward track and neededing 77 clover you will have to do the battle reward track 38.25 times to get enough clovers. There is NO viable mystic coin farm at all none even the reward tracks that give the wrapped gifts is just a chance at a coins. The only for sure is logins that is all which to collect 250 coins you will need to log in over 12.5 months just to have the coins. that is a whole year of doing nothing but logging in.
  17. The MAX MF you can have is just under 500 so I think you need to look things up before you try to speak on it. If you will use the link provided below and scroll down you will see a break down and how to get the max MF possible which is 465% period there is no grey area there is no extras this is it no more. Which puts you under 50% since it has been calculated that 1000% MF is needed to have 100% chance to go to the next tier.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Magic_ Yes boosters will cut times down but they will not cut it in half when you are being killed from zergs and what not in WvW. Running camps is easy yes but players seem to think holding them is more important than re capping them in a 4 min period which is incorrect. Since I can get to 10 pips in a short period of time just from capping and recapping camps when people are not attacking me and killing me which slows things down. Map completion is not worth doing as the rewards are a joke and if you think they are helpful in any way you need to look what is truly given. If drops are made to be more effective this is a good thing for the game not a bad thing, or if MF has its limits taken off so you can invest in that a boost it as high as you want. Altering things to make them with a in a harder format would not be hard as they have the format already with the CMs in fractals just apply it to the maps, even if it is done as a trial and see what players think that is a good thing it shows the possibility of growth instead of staying inside the same old box. This is how it would work, when you load in you choose to be in CM mode or not before you pick your character. Than when you go out into the maps the enemies are harder to kill and supply a better drop rate. If you choose not to be in the CM mode than you are in normal and the enemies are as they are now.
  18. It is wrong for them to do the same thing to me, and others like me that do not run META and play the game our way. This is a tic for tack and again sorry if this hurt your feelings but like I said until I meet player and people that do not have that mind set ( and I am sure they are out there ) they are lumped into that category and yes I speak my mind I always have I always will I do not pull punches. If you said that and you got looks than that is their issue, if you have that experience it is on them to change it, but on you to try and see things differently. I am always willing to see things differently but the moment someone is like you need to run the META than that is the end of it. I do not give up and I am hopeful that there are players out there that do not require you to be a META hound and run META, because I do not I will not and I can not. Here is an example Power builds are based off of zerker gear I have never used zerker gear for long I have tried it a few times and I die to fast so I do not use it period, most raids require you to have zerker or for condi vipers and again the same thing I die to fast so I do not can not and will not run them. That is not my issue if the raid group wants me in zerker gear or vipers gear and I can not play them because I die to fast. So again like I said sorry if this hits a nerve but this is the ugly truth about all raid groups I have ever tried to be part of and that has not and most likely will not change.

I never said I would not do the work I have done the work I have legendaries and the fact that in GW1 I vanquished 21 maps in 3 days on hard mode should tell you that I am not afraid of the work. The issue is this, and it is very easy to understand when you look at it and stop thinking of legendaries as end game, they are not end game as there is no end to the game.1 The items you need to make most legendaries come from 2 areas PVE which is the mats and what not and maybe a story line2 WvW or PVP where you need to get gifts of battle or what not. Now most not all but most PVE players will not or can not go into WvW or PvP to run reward tracks this is an issue when you need clovers as gambling is not worth losing the clovers you have and it take s mystic coin each time you gamble to try and get a return on the clovers you need. Yes you can get them through log ins we all know this yes you can pick up 2 each day from fractals for the prices of a mystic coin each. So that now makes a loop of you using mystic coins to gamble for clovers and maybe losing them all or using the mystic coins which you need for most if not all legendaries and coins can not be farmed in any format. Yes again you can get it from login and some dailies but you need 250 of them and if you are going to gamble you need a minimum of 77 which means you need 327 coins and have zero mistakes in your gambling to get your clovers and have all the coins you need. Now if you want to do the reward track for clover, here is how this works, It will take you 8.5 hours of constant play to max out the reward track once. now you get 2 clovers in that reward track that means that you need to run that track. 38.25 times at 8.5 hours each. That comes to 325 hrs of playing in a format that you do not like and that is pure torture to you. Why? is the question, there is no point to it so making them easier to get by allowing drops from enemies to occur in greater numbers and in a hard mode at greater tiers levels is exactly the way to go. Or they could do this, add reward tracks to PVE and fractals, where you complete content or kill a number of enemies and you gain reward track or even killing champions to reward track progression. This is what I was talking about when I said make it viable again there should never be a need for any PVE player who want to make a legendary to have to go into PvP or WvW at all not a single reason. It is a push that Anet is doing to force players into those areas to make them viable and only specific players like it. The game is PVE based and PVE should be what every player has to play to make legendaries. Right now WvW players and even PvP players can make everything they want and never have to do a damn thing in PVE again the question is why ? Fix this change this increase drop rates for PVE add reward tracks do something because I am not the only one who feels this way there are many others they are just afraid that anet will come after them. I personally do not care. I want this game to be as great as it can be but right now it is in a bad state and ANET really needs to start listening to the whole community and not just the ones that are well known.

How much gold do you think you can make in a day running around doing all the profit things, the answer is about 20g on average you could get lucking in fractals but just your basic stuff you are looking at 20 gold minimum now from my example 20 gold will get you 1/10 of the gold you need just for the blood. That means that you need to spend 2 weeks just doing that stuff over and over again to get enough gold to buy the blood you need. This is the issue bring drop rates up have the materials you need drop more often. This will bring the prices of legendaries down which will allow for casuals to buy them. Unless you are one of the guilds or members of one of these guilds with all the super rich ass players, who are sercumventing the TP than spending that kind of time just to get one component you need to make another component you need is to much. They need to redo the legendaries and make them easier to get. The time for legendaries are a stats symbol is over, no one care if you get a legendary and the only one that should care is you. But if you want one and cant get one because of these reasons than you know what I am saying. The need to be easier to get either by drops easier to make or cheaper to buy. This again will allow casual players to afford them and it was sink these big ticket rich guilds and players because the horde them as currancy. It needs to be better balanced to all casuals the same chance as the not so casuals and the self proclaimed elites

I click because that is what I am use to the hotkeys I can not do them because I hit more than one key all the time as I have large hands so hotkeys are out period, Yes you can get 10-20g from junk in the fractals that is what I was talking about when I did the numbers up There is NO ZIP ZERO farm that is a viable farm for a mat that you might need, you can not go to an area and farm the same creatures in like an hour or two have a stack of the mat you are looking for. In GW1 this was very much a thing feathers comes to mind and lockpicks Yes GW1 was built in a bubble we all know that and that is why it was so good to be able to farm what you wanted/needed and with one to jump in. You knew exactly where you had to go and what you had to kill to get that mat to drop. Hard mode could be done it would just be a split like it was in GW1 where you had the central HUB say LA and when you get ready to leave it asks if you would like hard mode or normal, if you are in a party than you need everyone to click the hard mode. They have this already with fractals there is nothing saying they can not introduce this to the maps and it would be easy to do, a little time consuming but easy. If fractals there are few places where you can harvest so, collecting materials through harvesting is not a thing in fractals, you get a few things here and there from drops and from opening fractal encryptions but in 5 months you will still not have a stack of mats that you would need. Drop rates for pure mats has to be increased to allow for a proper farm to get started. As I stated earlier Raids are for people that think they are somehow elite. If you do not run exactly what the raid wants you to run good luck getting into one and if you do good luck staying in one. They want META (Which is a joke) and that is all they want they do not care if you can finish they just care about finishing fast and getting onto the next one. That is the issue with raids and putting legendary armour into fractals would allow for players like myself to run fractals and build the armour while not having to worry about being kicked for not running the build they are crying for. If there are ways of getting mats without doing content that is not just harvesting or buying them off the TP I would like to know what they are, doing content is you going out and killing things that is content, the problem with that is that the content is easy enough but the drop rate sucks and MF DOES NOT HELP. MF should help some of us put a lot of time and effort into getting the max base MF and we are getting nothing more than a slap in the face for it. Either ANET has to do one of 3 things with MF 1 Give it no limit from the luck sources and you can build it as high as you want and even make an acheivment from it where you are given a legendary if you collect 1,000,000 luck points or 1000% luck or something like that 2 Wipe the luck right out and whatever you are sitting at in your luck so for me 304%. However much luck it took to get to this you get back in gold. So if it took 20,000 luck to get to 304% you would get 20K in gold. Or 3 make the number correct so that if you have 304% MF than you have a 304% chance to get better items.....Research was done by players and it had come down to that it would take 1000% luck for you to have a 100% chance at a higher tier level item from a drop. Well guess what the highest you can get with boosts and max base MF is 465% which is not even half of what you need so you do not even have a 50% chance to get the next highest tier.

If anyone says to "get gud" than they themselves are part of the problem, the one person that said that player base has a top end limit to their skill level is 100% correct and that is based on what the player can physically do and see. I am a clicker have been since GW1 because that is the way it was played, I can not button push and nor do I try. I do not run META in anything I do and there for I can not do raids because people and groups what META, well META is a joke and as long as the content can be completed than the build is viable. Now I never said to make PVE harder I said to give the option to make it harder like they did in GW1 On the gold 3 gold was an example yes I know you can make more than 3 gold an hour and there are several ways to do that but lets say you make 10 gold from doing fractals and that is what you run every day because the rest of the content makes you want to find the heavies frying pan you have and smash yourself in the face till you pass out. SO you make 10 gold from fractals that is 150 day that you would have to do before you have the gold to get the material you need to make your legendary. 5 month of fractals not spending one gold on anything at all every day. But now that you have the gold to get the stuff you have to go into WVW or PVP to get the clovers because after 5 month of logins you have 25 clover only and you need 77. So lets do a little math here sale we: 250 mystic coins 353g 67s 50cClovers 77 neededGift of Condensed Magic x2 needed that isPowerful blood 79g 28sPotent Blood 14g 10sThick Blood 6g 98sVial of Blood 8g 77sThat is 109 13 x 2for 218g 26s Just for blood alone. Now take that away form the 1500That is 1281.74 and 250 mystic coins is 374.92that leaves 906.82g and it is my guess just a guess that 906.82 will not be enough to get you the rest of the mats that you need to complete the build. On top of this you have to maybe go out and collect 250 of map currancies that you can only get so many of a day Like blood Rubiescomplete a quest like to get whatever it is you may need to make the precurser just so you can now make that legendary that you have bee working on and then you get the satisfaction that you have it, but lets see you have lost a crap load of gold after doing a crap load of work and now it is not worth it. The simple fact that if they do just these small thing of 1 making a hard mode where drops are increased, 2 having MF work the way it was intended to 3 Getting other ways to gain clovers and coins other than the limited ways they have 4 Hell lets even put legendaries in the drop rotation of enemies. 5. put legendary armour in the fractals I like this one and will steel it. But everyone will say do raid as stated above I do not do raids as raid require you to run META most of the time because raids I think are for people who think they are elites and that is just a pure toxic thing. Strikes are not any fun and they do not have any good drops so they are not worth doing. These are all things that need to be changed. In GW1 you took on a PVE boss ( champion now) you had a higher chance at a good drop, if you soloed that ( champ) the chance of the good drop was higher. This should be the case now, with the number of champs there are out there, there is no way this can not be done to make drops better which in turn makes PVE viable again because it draws players out to try for the drops. IF a hard mode option ever made these champs would not be solo able at all and you would require some assistance but base drops would be increased for mats on the hard mode making the collection of mats like the blood above easier instead of hoping to collect enough gold form whatever it is you do for gold and buying it off the TP.
  23. There is something to be said about finishing a big achievement I understand this because I went through that with GW1 when I went for GWAMM. I had 21 maps to vanquish on hard mode and completed them all in 3 days. Just to I could make sure I was getting the transfer time over to GW2. I have been playing their games since stress testing of GW1 and I understand the whole idea behind this but it takes to long it takes to many resources and it takes to much gold. Gold does not drop in the game it is not the easiest thing in the world to get no matter what anyone says. If it costs 1500g to make a legendary and you make 3 gold a day that is going to take you 500 days just to have enough to make it that is over 2 years. People say you can make 3 gold an hour well that is false because you can not. By the time you complete Fractals, farming and wold boss runs and then you sell everything you are not making 3 gold an hour not even close. People say this because they do not take into consideration the time it takes to go and finish or farm what you are looking for they only look at the selling time. So if you make 3 gold in that hour it took you about 6 hours to collect all those mats and sell them, or run fractals and world bosses. Granted some things give good gold return Fractals are one of these but you can only get the rewards once a day. So once again you are down to doing world bosses where MF has no effect on bags, running champs where MF has no effect, and if you are in a zerg and kill a champ your odds of getting an exotic bag is horrible. On top of that there is nothing that says you will get an exotic from that bag.

I said most bounties can not be soloed and that is true, if you had a read of the whole post I said earlier that hard mode would be something you can select or you can be in normal mode it is up to you. There is nothing fun about taking over a year to achieve something that is in a video game, video games as based right away satisfaction, so taking a year is not satisfaction at all , the time line it took me to get my backpack from the fractals was about right which was a few months. So you will ask how we control a flood of legendaries in the market well that is easy to. You simply limit the number of legendaries that can be made in x number of months buy each player so 4 that is all you can make in a 5 month period. If you watch this video time stamp 2min 45 seconds, just watch what this guy Guild MM has in the screen shot of his bank and tell me that he could not just flood the market and drive prices down if he wanted to time stamp for screenshot 5min 24sec. Than after you see that realize that this was last year and there are people out there with even more than thatSo saying that allowing legendaries to be easier would wreck the market these guys can do it already, if they want to. If the market gets flooded than players like this do nto become as strong as they are in the community and everything comes onto a level playing field. Casual players need something to keep them here and legendaries that take years to complete is not the way
