  1. How are you unsure? You just exactly described what I was saying. in EU hundreds of players do just what you said, in NA noone cares and its much more casual
  2. It would be fun if both Evil Inc and Red Guard would come to BG, so we could show you what I'm talking about
  3. Theres no "mapblob" group organization today, either. Do you play wvw at all? Video is from 2013. Rings and back items were introduced with The Lost Shores and were originally available only in Fractals of the Mists (November 16, 2012) If they were in exotics, that just proves how much more awesome they were compared to you. Still, my guild farmed them in warhammer online 6vs6 map.
  4. Who was talking about the best? You just confirmed what I said...while everyone in the USA was still in exotics, Red Guard were farming mapblobs with only 5 people, all fully in ascended gear and knowing exactly how to exploit every little bit in their favor Yet... https://i.imgur.com/UIHeXLG.jpg
  5. With Mag its never equal, so hard to check...however, 2 days ago when Devir led BG people in Bravost retake, easily won 20 vs 30, maybe even 40 with mag coming from keep...BG just lost confidence lately, but when its back, we win
  6. Played few MMOs both on EU and USA servers, if that would be true, it would be first...all others EU led by far...I mean, I started GW2 on USA server because I wanted to play casually instead against Red Guard and the likes
  7. Although, I have to thank MAG, I just discovered they put fishing in game...my favourite LOTRO fun. Guess I'll check back WvW in a month or two
  8. In DAOC certain classes could do this---risky, because you could not bring healers:
  9. So you confirm what I originally stated...people in GW2 don't want to help others (except raid sellers)
  10. Yet, you didn't point me to one...if you mean ones you can find through in-game tool, its just ad-hoc groups made for doing strike, world boss or whatever, and not a community of people
  11. I left GW2 for two more years of DAOC after we won first tournament....and although BG roflstomped through it, it was actually not as unbalanced as ATM I play for challenge, but one sided fights are boring for me, no matter if I'm winning or losing. In DAOC, at least I had tools to win 8 vs 50+ In GW2, numbers are huge advantage even if undermanned side is more skilled one
  12. Its hard to explain to someone who wasn't there maybe if you read this you'd get a grasp of it
  13. Only community that ever got built in GW2 is Community of Raid Sellers
  14. Thats actually true, I often die (and get disgusted by BG players approach to fighting) because I engage first...coming from DAOC and Warhammer online as my first MMOs, I totally don't understand PVD mentality...hence I usually die first, or while helping others. I disagree that its the last 3 years though, BG used to have much more capable pugs, who didn't run away from bigger numbers...MAG, though, always seem obsessed with KDR and usually don't engage until superior in numbers
  15. I call BS on most of it...just barely gathered 10 people in BG to attack our home tower in GBL, mag responded with 40...did you guys waited for 4:1 odds just to be sure, or you have zerg handy at all times? Mind you, those 10 BG were all that is online atm, cause noone really care about wvw this week. If by "off hours" you mean EU times, BG rarely has 20 people, so how it is possible that " I see for other servers is most of the time more than us"? Instead of "get better, use other routes, take camps...whatever", we all used more logical approach and went to PVE Enjoy
  16. Used to be like this (captured only small part of it, due to 800x600 resolution I ran back then, lol) https://prnt.sc/s96neub9Jiob
  17. learn to read, lol...I said its community issue, not a game issue Even your post is proving it...if I made it on DAOC vnboard forum, I'd usually get "hey, log into game and pm me and I'll help"
  18. Not at all...I actually don't do raids at all. What actually made me post it was trying for few hours to get TWO people to help enter Zommoros Lair in Vabbi
  19. But I'm the same guy I was in DAOC and Warhammer Online, just a bit older. Yet, my facebook and discord is full of guildmates from those games, just recently I met a guy from DAOC in some MMO discord (by pure chance) and he remembers me after 15 years. Here, despite playing from day 1, I barely know anyone (despite playing it longer than DAOC and Warhammer put together)
  20. I'm just using educated comparison, this been like my 10th+ MMO For example, when I used alliance wide shout "My cleric need help with level 50 epic quest" in DAOC, I got over 50 people coming to help (that was about 1h long thing, as those old MMOs didn't have WPs so lots of running and riding) Here, when someone in guild chat asks help with whatever, usually noone responds even when there's 50+ people online) Then again, its entirely possible that I'm in wrong guilds here since beta 🙂
