  1. Has anyone gotten mods working under Wayland? I saw mention earlier about needing some stuff for X11 to get things to work but I haven't seen any Wayland mentions in here. EDIT: Disregard. I ran the Lutris installer and mods work fine here. I fixed the poor performance by loading up Proton 7.24 under Lutris after finishing install and it fixed not just my framerate but the weird mouse issues with 7.1. All good now.
  2. I can confirm Proton functionality in full for the base unmodified game now. I've been playing the game for over a day, doing various types of content as well as using TP. No crashes, no issues whatsoever, aside from what I mentioned before where loading up mods like Radial Mount or VKBasalt will cause the game to freeze. OS: Garuda Linux Kernel: 5.18.13-zen1-1-zen CPU: Ryzen 2700X GPU: Radeon 6900 XT Memory: 32GB DE: Plasma 5.25.3 (Wayland) All I did to get to this point was set up a non-steam game in Steam, point it to the GW2.exe in the data folder, and tell it to use Proton GE 7.26. It worked right out of the box once I deleted gw2radial from the addons folder. I've gotten some additional performance out of the game by mimicking several of the commands from user_run to the launch options in Steam. This is what I'm running right now: MESA_GLSL_CACHE_DISABLE=0 MESA_DISK_CACHE_SINGLE_FILE=1 mesa_glthread=true RADV_PERFTEST=aco DXVK_HUD=fps,gpuload DXVK_ASYNK=1 STAGING_SHARED_MEMORY=1 WINEFSYNC=1 %command%
  3. I can't get any mods to load with the game either. I can get the game itself to work relatively well with Proton, but the second mods are brought in it gives me a shader compilation error. vkBasalt also seems to fail, either crashing the launcher, or if I run it with the base config, I just get a black screen and an unresponsive application I have to force close.
  4. I can get the game to load okay using GE Proton 7.26 as long as I have mods disabled. However, if I turn them on, I'm getting this from the gw2radial.log file (this is the only mod I run). Not sure how helpful it will be to report this on the github itself, since the mod doesn't have issues to my knowledge in Windows and this is something new since the update. Performance with GE Proton 7.26 is significantly worse than pre-patch using the normal play.sh script. I assume this is because of all the variables set, such as WINEFSYNC and RADV_PERFTEST=aco, but if I enable those it goes back to breaking during the launcher again. As for my setup, AMD CPU with AMD graphics card. Ryzen 7 2700X with an Radeon RX 6900 XT. Running on Garuda.
