Except it's not a currency. This is like putting a cap on Drizzlewood Coast keys, Crowbars from Verdant Brink or Mistborn Keys from Dragonfall. I don't recall Anet having ever put a cap on these things, and starting now would be a very bad look.

I've run into the same problem. My first meta event run I got keycards no problem. Then I joined a map that was at the final boss, and I got keycards from that as well. However I have joined another 2 meta runs since then and haven't received any keycards whatsoever. Either this is bugged or they put a (daily?) limit on the number of keycards you can obtain.

I was wondering if there's any requirements that have to be met before you can participate in the (EoD) strikes? Just now I was helping a group with the Kaineng Overlook strike, and one of the players apparently couldn't join us in the instance. They were playing together with another party member who did manage to join, so I'm not exactly sure what the issue could have been. Apparently they didn't get the pop-up in Arborstone, and to my understanding couldn't join from the portal either. I'm fairly new to strikes myself, and this was my first time leading, so I'm not really sure what could have caused this. Do you have to progress to a certain point in the story before you unlock the strikes? Any help would be appreciated. Then I can contact them next time I see them online and see if they still need help.

Just a few minutes. I just ordered from them and got my keys pretty quick. This was my first experience with them. Some people over on the GW2 subreddit also bought from Gameliebe, after running into similar issues with Amazon, and generally seemed positive about it. The email may end up in your junk folder though, so be sure to check that.

Having the same problem now with with Black Friday sale. The issue doesn't seem to be related to the change in payment processer that's preventing GFN users from buying gems though, as I was able to redeem a code a few days ago (after that change was already made). Seems like the gem store is pretty broken lately and just going haywire for quite a few users. Hope the devs fix it soon, but doubt it will get fixed before the Black Friday gemstore sales are over.
