Also this build has not Rotations. It has a mindset / rules that you have to follow:
Always try to root->stun->root->stun. to lock your enemy in place.
When you have him locked in place, put a damagefield under him, via overload or Fire 3/4.
Always cycle your auras at maximum efficiency. (NEVER overlap magauras and other reflects/always try and get a "onhit" stun from shockaura and then transmute it for another stun.
DO NOT USE WATER. If you switch to water when your being attacked, your already dead. Use water only for the 4/5 for ranged pressure or to spawn the waterelemental.
Fire / Earth is Damage.
Air is CC.
Your sustain is actually hidden in fire. (Fire5 is your heal and cleanse)
When your stunned and dont have a overload ready to brack the stun. Either go in air and cast shockaura or go to earth and cast the 4 for a reflect.(both swapping attunements and casting those skills can be done while you are CCed and it will force the opponent to stop attacking you)
The best tip i can give anyone that thinks that a pvp match is "chaos"..... is to play ALL the other builds.... sounds odd.. but once youve touched every build, youll notice that every build has this 1 or 2 gimmicks that they try and do to you. Now you just have to look out for when they are going to do their thing.
always use water to proc soothing and healing ripple, just dont stay in water for too long, cast the cc and switch

Just because the whole elite specialization is just pure garbage from the very design level and that in reality it's just core + F5field, it doesn't matter because it's meta. You have to gitgut and love that trash and praise A-net as per protocol.

Makes sense yep, didn't see the benchmark atm for power weav so idk, but ye they should buff it a little more. Hybrid weaver could get 38k dps average (on golem obviously) last time I played it, it's not that bad

I started by agreeing that it's busted, so I don't know why you've gone on this spiel like I'd said it's perfectly balanced. I'm only making the point that everything has weaknesses and Harbinger is no different.
The only reasonis because 90% of players are built like they're in open world PvE.
I've never been a very good player, but capable enough to handle myself while roaming with extremely shoddy builds. I never had issues fighting Cele Harbs with core Power Engi (which had literally a single cleanse from Cleansing Sigil), and core Power Necro literally 3 shot most of the ones I fought.
It's not unkillable, it just has very high pressure at range. Don't let it ramp up damage and it's a lot easier to deal with is all I'm saying. Not that it isn't busted.
The real issue here is that so many players react like yourself. Never willing to take responsibility for your decisions or to listen to advice. You just want to point fingers and call it a day because it's easier than admitting you're not as good as you think you are.Post a vid of you beating a good cele Harb with a power engi, I'm curious.

This is Harbinger remember, maximum health will be reduced, it doesn't have protective Shroud, and it's not an evasive or very mobile spec.
I'm not trying to downplay the strength of it, but what makes it so strong is how quickly it snowballs a fight. If you use your cleanse(s) and stunbreaks wisely, the best way to deal with them is to be hyper aggressive. Don't try to work the field waiting for openings, as soon as the Harbi has you on the backfoot the fight is over. The amount of pressure and passive sustain it has means as soon as you try to back off to recover you're going to be stuck trying to kite while the Harbi is getting passive health back.
Counter or avoid the CC, dump your damage on them, and don't panic cleanse.
I think I could agree that Cele is most obnoxious on Harbi or maybe Mechanist, but practicing against it and learning how it plays is the best way to lessen your frustrations against it.I played this match up like 50 times against a friend around plat 1 level (just like me), I won maybe 3 times because I kited him well but let's be honest, it's almost impossible to win against this if you're not using Cele yourself or have tons of condi cleanse.
If the dude has the same skill level as you, GL winning this class.

Ye that's true, I can't win Cele match-up cause they just outsustain me even if I kite correctly. I could just play Cele Holo but that's kinda boring. They shouldn't have buffed Cele in the first place imo.

Tbh I'm just hating because it's impossible for my zerk/toughness Holo to win this match-up, like many celestial match-up. Cause this gear is beyond broken for roaming
