Similar problem. I did all of the rifts that I needed. But I cannot "Listen to Zizel's call."
I really wanted to get through the story. I also cannot submit a ticket as the website keeps looping me to login again when I press submit ticket.-

Seems to be that the new system is slower than before since just after I bought them, I received an email saying they were processing my order. I got it eventually but it isn't like before where you buy it and it's on your account ASAP. Took a few hours after I purchased.
I just have to get used to it I suppose.

I had purchased gems twice from the gemstore, but nothing came to my account. Is there a problem that hasn't been announced under news?

A lot of the older game is outdated, a little buggy at times and could use some TLC, and that includes some of the earlier living world seasons and expansion content as well.
Once that's done and Gw2 overall is a much better game for it, then we go into new stories and the big one for me is exploring the ocean and finding out what those "horrors" are that have been terrorizing the aquatic races all this time.
Other stories include what's next for the Dwarves, and will the Asura and Skritt desire to return to their underground ancestral homes, or at least rediscover explore them.

And another big one is.. What happened to the Fissure of Woe after Balthazar pillaged his Eternal army's souls to create the Forged, and subsequently was defeated and killed..
Menzies Shadow Army clearly still exist as we can clearly see in LWS4 so it's quite likely that Menzies the mad, if still alive (which he likely is).. has or will finally conquer the Fissure and claim the realm for himself.
Menzies is the last of the evil god triarchy created by the alliance between Menzies, Abaddon and Dhuum.
That makes Menzies one of the most powerful known remaining evil entities left whom could become a major antagonist in future content, more so if he starts gaining followers among Balthazars former worshipers.
Considering we've never even seen Menzies in the franchise so far that would make him a pretty awesome candidate for a future antagonist and story as he would be both an old enemy but also a very new one to experience.
Suffice to say there's a lot of potential left in Gw2, and I want to see it all achieved.
And yes, I also finally want to go visit the Wizards Tower lol

Menzies could be the new bad guy dealer of impending doom. Why not?
Wizard's Tower needs have a sorcerer like Magician Faust in the old PS rpg Legend of Dragoon. Solo Battle. Weekly Reset. He could be a shape-shifting mage who would change class type based on your class spec and would be a puzzle to beat every time. Casts debuffs to whatever you are using in terms of food, armor, weapon, etc. Have a unique and complex game mechanic that also changes based on your characteristics too.
GW2 these days is more into instanced content so maybe that's the way to go.
I want them to have more interesting things in the store in terms of skins. We are no where near Korean MMO skin monetization and I want the game to stay alive.

Aurene mode at the last story battle was SO ADDICTING. That last battle went by TOO FAST with mecha rifle pew pew pew lasers. In that moment, GW2 became a shoot'em up that I never thought it would become.
I think GW2 is missing some light-hearted counterpoint to the always-serious impending dragon doom.
I would like for us to visit:
-the underwater seas of the Largos a la Aquaman movie: lots of neon lights.
-a hidden-quaggan sea world to serve as comedic/cute relief
-adventures on Canach's airship - from Commander to Bounty Hunter? Cowboy Bebop?
-going back to the "guild wars" with descendants becoming heads of family houses that beef with each other in the present-day story
-Skiff GTA or rather Grand Skiff Auto: I want jack some else's Skiff for the lels. They can spawn a new one right?
-Fast and the Furious side story via beetle racing
-A carnival with pew pew pew shooting gallery in Aurene Mode.
In any instance, I just want post-dragon guild wars 2 to be an actual escape. I don't have any need to play a game that wants to echo reality.: I get enough of that in my 9 to 5.

Leap of Faith is the eject button. I think rollout is fine it just needs a targeting lockon.

As an altaholic, I understand op's thoughts on repeating content. The game itself is ALT friendly where you can make tons of characters on a single account and share items and skins with all toons provided they are the same weight class. But as for any reward or shortcuts for people with alts on a single account, there are none other than doing it all again. My problem is repeating the story and how it can be time consuming. There are gemstore items that shortcut way points which to me is meaningless because I have a ton of mounts. With story, you have to sit through most of the dialogue which you may already know by heart if you have done it enough times over.
Some may play for story. Some play for the world. There are no shortcuts for story. For the world, you have mounts and way point unlocks.

I used to have the Zephyrus G14 non-webcam version and it was a beast. I had a similar (juiced) desktop build and no issues or choke. Due to pandemic problems, I had to give up both.
DX11 made them both buttery smooth.
I was surprised no one mentioned it. The in-game check box for DX11 works wonders (no third party external add-ons).
As I await parts for a new build, I'm using a pretty basic work laptop:
i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 16 gb ram and... Intel Iris XE graphics. LOL
On max settings with DX 9: can't move or do anything especially at huge map metas and world bosses
On max settings with DX 11: revolutionary - I completed the EoD strike with my Mecha and a decent party.: three wiped and I was up and pew-pewing because I can dance all day apparently. I additionally completed Dragon's End Meta and all other EoD Metas with no issues.
DX11 made my non-gaming laptop worth using for GW2. I am also using Windows 11 (dunno if that is helping or hurting since it is unsupported) but the change for me in DX versions is kind of ridiculous, but I'm really thankful.
I got to complete all the main content in EoD (story, metas, new strike, unlock masteries, get my turtle, etc.) in less time than it took for my 4k gems to get to me after buying the EoD Ultimate package.
To recap: I highly recommend the non-webcam Zephyrus G14. DX11 is game-changing.
So now as I contemplate builds and parts for a new PC, I still get to play GW2 with no issues.
It's wild to me.

Based on my history with class specs, it sounds like it should be my new main. Engi was underpowered for years until Holo spec then Mecha spec came out. I was really impressed with the big buffs to the class, but that's not how I roll. It used to be the hardest one to get okay dmg; now it's the bandwagon class so I have to switch to chrono. Thanks for that bit of info.

Post Reset TT been doing it since forever. Just go to the map after you do TEQ at reset and they'll have tags up to taxi people in. Don't wait for when it actually starts because by then, their map probably has hit cap.

I just wanted to thank you guys (in public) for helping me get all my accounts back. You guys did your research, helped me with authentication, and got me back on these forums. I will be in game as soon as I get a new build together, I haven't had a proper rig since March 2021.

After seeing the evidence posted here, why couldn't they have just used human male as a template for sylvari male?With the exception of Studded Plate armor (which looks like the overly wide WoW humans which was an instant turn-off for me), wouldn't it have been easier to make sylvari from a more consistent foundation in human male?

Aquaman's (2018) Atlantis where Jason Momoa first enters into the city and the underwater light show happens. If you don't know what I mean, you have to watch it. Something like that could possibly be the home of the Largos. If you watch the clip, what we need overall (for any new map) is that awe and wonder appreciating the beauty of the map design. Just look at Jason Momoa's face as he reacts to Atlantis. He's like a kid in those brief moments! We need to get back to that core-tyria, pre-expac wonder that we had so many years ago when we first explored this game. Skip to 1:05

Character name swap: switching names of two characters on one account. I know we have character name change, but we can't just change it to a character name we already have. We either have to delete a character to free up a name (not cool with old characters and birthday system), or we have to buy three character name changes to switch two character names: #1 for a fake name you need just to remove a name you like, #2 for the unused name to be used by the new character, #3 to fix the first character name from one you had because it was just a place holder to remove a previous name.

Hello my fellow 0.5% Super-ALT-aholics! We need more slots to prepare for Cantha lore, RP, cosplay, etc. I think 2 more slots is a bit conservative. We should have more slots based on the amount of new specs coming out, classes, and race(s) if any.

Although I answered the poll one way, I would like to see many that are presented and just somehow getting the overall game back to play as you like with the community on-board with the core ethos of the game. That is a dream though.
Additionally, they have already made all the major choices of the game, and you, the patron have already decided what you like and what you don't like. It's up to you to understand why you made the choice to feel as you do when the final product is presented.

The 100% rep guilds are living in the past. This is a feature of the game. If they want 100% they have to earn it. What are they going to do for you? How arrogant of any guild to assume they even can replace the varying and unique experiences of your chosen 5 guilds.

Do guild wars dyes have RGB ratings? OP is asking for a black that's blacker than Shadow Abyss (which I think would be pretty cool RGB: 0, 0, 0? Or is that too extreme?) but I don't really even know what Shadow Abyss is. Is Shadow Abyss RGB: 25, 25, 25? Is there a way to find out?

Same. I am in the exact same situation. I tried doing Zizek's events in Amnytas at the Bastion of the Natural area. Nothing. We can only wait until they fix it. I would like to progress myself. Was stuck on this step since this morning trying to find a way to advance it somehow.
