I don't see why not. They should make one all about boon removal, with tanky stats, while they are at it.

Considering WvW the pet would probably be best not ranged and preferably not so tanky, but more DPS oriented.

A few people including myself have suggested replacing Restorative Strikes with another boon rip or corruption when Stunning a target.

Just include pets in that CC to boon removal and you would be golden.

I don't think boon rip should be tied to anything.

Just a pet timed rotation removing 1 single boon everyone.

    Keeping it simple.

While that is better than nothing I would rather have a simple boon removal on the pet. Preferably on demand with f2 skill.

  3. Can Rangers have a Boon Removal Pet?

It is known that Untamed can remove boons, however having at least one boon removal in ranger druid southeast would be great.

It can be tied to the beast skill so soulbeast does not have 2. And it's more on demand. But just 1 boon so it's not something that impacts too.

Pets always have this thing that they can do everything and cover the ranger weakness, yet no boon removal even if just 1.

Well if they really wanted weaver the dual element spec, they wouldn't be asking to make it play like core ele, cata or tempest.

So what it seems they really want is the reduction in attunement recharge, not weaver itself.

They can ask for it and it's fine. The game play is totally different in weaver even with just 1 element than catalyst and tempest because it is still more complex. But I don't suppose a cata or temp would ever understand.

Weaver can be that single element and change to dual or have both choices sseparated. They were asking for it to be more simple by committing to a choice. Which would be optional as there is no way the dual elements would be removed from weaver.

It doesn't have to be the simple rotation as other eles.

Weaver just needs better power scaling so it can have decent options there, and adding a power stance would do just that and it could be powered by two different elements just like primordial stance but with a more power theme instead of condition.

I don't need to provide quickness or alac on weaver, but ngl it'd be so nice if weaver had self-quickness.

And that shouldn't be a problem. Selfish classes are ok as long they don't also require others.

It makes way less sense that mechanist has everything and weaver has nothing.

Now weaver getting self alac and/or self quickness would be way too fun and no one would play catalyst/tempest unless forced to for party content and that would create other problems.
