    Change Smoothing Waters to give regen and give regen upgrade already bundled in. (Kinda a loss of healing still)

    Then make more traits to work while you have regen similar to a few mesmer llines. Specially tuned for offensive power.

    I think the problem is that most pve combat are sort of immobile and moving feels like a dps loss. But that is a problem of pve not the spec.

    I play harbinger sometimes, specially with core necro, reaper and scourge nerfs. It is right now fun and best necro spec to play. Maybe if I am solo it is better than specter. However specter just has that extra fun in duo that is just amazing and no other class can do it or replace it.

  4. It made me change from Necro to Thief and not because of the shroud although aesthetic is perfect and those skills are good.

    The main reason I like specter is the single target support, not just heals, but the fact it gives barrier and hence does some damage via torment while supporting. The best skill for me is Scepter/Pistol 3, which shadow steps (heals) and then gives quickness to a target. That is huge for me because it is a lot of torment while giving quickness and healing all in one skill. Plus allows good positioning by targeting friend/foe.

     

    The traits complement this well, and the alacrity for me is great, since I use wells and I always loved wells on other classes, I was worried about shadow steps on wells  but it ended up being a nice extra, as I can also use them for extra mobility.

     

    Skill 2 of scepter is the only weak part in my option, because it feels nothing special.

    TL:DR; Its a new way to play which I love. I love this gameplay style.

    they been cursed by Monks because guardians replaced them.

  7. idk, I really like a quick defense/ranged option on a melee weapon, but I get what you mean it does not fit the theme. but at sametime I would rather have them change 4 and 5 into something else more useful while keeping the shadowsteps.

    maybe the traits should be more about blocking, shadowstep and virtues and each should have condi, power, mobility in mind.

    That's why I stay away from cc on weapons.

    I though the plan was to always have a CC weapon/Skills

  9. This is a big problem with digital games.
    When you used to buy a game it game with a lot of warnings like epilapsi and such. Nowadays other issues are more commonly talked and also often mentioned on manuals. The solution is always the same, stop playing if you start feeling these issues. It sucks but it is the truth. Much like getting blind now via an accident would suck and would hinder anyone to play all the content. Not 100% impossible but... difficult.

    EDIT: This is my favorite expansion for multiple reasons, one of them is just nostalgia, but the quality of the places is simply amazing. The fact it is nostalgia but better is just... perfect.
